I'd like to make a joke about the Soylent diet, but really it seems more like they don't understand how ropes work.

As an ironworker that deals with rigging all day this was painful to watch.

I don't even know where to start. First and foremost I guess would be that the rope they're using is likely just shitty home depot manilla that doesn't do dick for anything with serious weight to it. Only using one rope not two or three tied to different points for something like this, also it's pretty generous to assume any one in this crowd can tie even the most basic knots and hitches so the rope probably kept slipping and coming loose. Running the rope over a sharp edge on the side of the building without anything to protect it so now it could wear down and possibly break midway through the pick.

Just name a few really.

I was a pretty fucking stupid commie until I found people of the student union defending Gulags, saying the americans inflated the deathtoll during the cold war and that the soviets were just democrats.
