As much as I want to go with the "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" commentary, most of the protesters fled to the outer shoulder. Of course, they also set up a roadblock so that the car would go in the direction of the shoulder, and just before the inevitable popping crunch noise, one of the ones that was hit seems to quickly change direction straight into the car.
I mean, if someone is retarded enough to believe that "defund police and crime goes away", is that much of a stretch to think they would be dumb enough to throw themselves into a moving vehicle?

There was actually nothing wrong with the Gyrojet concept. It was a manufacturing flaw with the ammo that led to their inaccuracy. The baseplate crimped onto the rounds would occasionally occlude one or more of the rocket engine's ports, leading to asymmetric thrust.
If they attached rocket engines to the base of FRAG-12 slugs and used those to get them spinning instead of spring-loaded fins, they'd literally have a Bolter round.

Believe me; the reason we're still using ACOGs and basic-bitch AT4/SMAW/RPGs right now because they're troop-proof, not just because they're cheap.
As far as miniturized guidance for something like rifle-size gyrojet ammunition goes (roughly a 12ga shell), it already exists. And considering in a gyrojet round, they don't need to be hardended to withstand the shock of instant acceleration. And as far as payload goes, the only thing a projectile needs in vacuum, is speed and/or mass. The space previously reserved for a warhead could then be utilized for RTS & instant changes in direction, along with possibly other payloads (micro-EMPs).
The thing with orbital zoomies though is they're going to be fighting in a very sterile & predictable environment. And unlike in the movies, they'll have more training & education than Cpl. Hicks, and our Space Marines won't exactly be the type to fix targeting systems by headbutting a bulkhead.
Then again........
I'd almost kill for a döner kebap right now; all this got me nostalgic for the bad old times watching antifags protest during G8 in Frankfurt.

Let's assume it. Most space combat would just be ship to ship. Getting a hole into your ship is a mission over scenario in space, pressurization is too important. So when we're talking about Space Marines, they really would be using the tactics of the fucking marines and airforce for infantry combat.
So you can waste a ludicrous amount of money to get a superaiming bullet. Yes... Or you can send 10 times the dudes with guns that punch holes in straight lines. Now just take a guess what they're gonna go with.
And besides. Would you trust an AI to tell the bullet where to go? As I mentioned on other comments. I help at a healthcare union. Let me tell you, most of the job of the unioners is trying to get people to navigate the bloody AIs in charge of information control. Some days I wonder if it'd be more efficient to just use good old filing cabinets. Only things I trust less than a dumb human are an AI being told what to do by a dumb human and the worst case scenario, a dumb AI that ISN'T being told what to do by a dumb human. I know the myth goes that AIs will take over the world. They won't. I'll be surprised if they can tie shoes.
Point is. I wouldn't fucking trust an AI controlled bullet. Not in a million years. And I doubt even the thickest of grunts would. So our future space guns are, at least for the foreseeable future, very likely gonna just be good old fashioned straight shooting hole punchers. Only question is how they'll propel the bullet wout melting the cannon. But no way it's gonna be that expensive.

It's been a hard 36 days, like he said, but he's shown the absolute reality of police and community in that time.
He's been covering it with humanity. It's a shame the kids at this protest are too dumb to understand humanity. When the police turn up, these dunces still yell at them.

“The solution is very simple,” he responded. “We file a declaration of liberation, declaring every African-American descendant of slavery a political prisoner here in the United States, that was affected by the Portuguese slave trade, and after that, the United States then has a choice, either carve us a piece of land out here — we’ll take Texas — and let us do our own thing, or don’t stop us when we exit this body here and go somewhere where they will give us our own land to build our own nation.”
The initials NFAC reportedly stands for the “Not F*cking Around Coalition,” which is how the group refers to itself. Jay claimed they’re all ex-military, are disciplined and are expert shooters.
“We don’t want to talk no more, we don’t want to negotiate,” he said. “We don’t want to sing songs, we don’t bring signs to a gunfight. We’re an eye for an eye organization. So when they decide to act right, we’ll act right. And we do it all legally.”
Members of the heavily armed black militia marched on Stone Mountain Park, near Atlanta, on the 4th of July to call for the removal of a giant Confederate rock carving at the site.
The site, seen as a racist by the left, includes carvings of Confederate figures Robert E Lee, Jefferson Davis, and Thomas J “Stonewall” Jackson.
