In this city it's either that, noodle-armed awkward programmers, or hipsters in their mid-to-late 20's still working retail, waiting for their blogging career to take off.
Unfortunately that demographic doesn't use my trade's services often so I tend to get more exposure to the older Seattle crowd. Most of the young people I meet in the city are part of music scenes so I'm pretty detached from the techies. I wouldn't be able to blend in with them very well anyways.
