To be correct it was a rather big tank of bleach. I couldn't find a picture of it yet and don't have the exact details but see it as the size between a small swimming pool and a jacuzzi.
I don't know if it was open or closed. It was used to add bleach to the water for the fountains.
Something stinks about this whole story and it's not only Travis, his dirty girlfriend or the bleach:

Afaik you can never hear him negotiate with the police so I wouldn't be surprised if some of the other antifas/blm killed him after they found out what he did
to his girlfriend.
All the 'witnesses' were antifa/blm. One blm streamer was even talking about murder/suicide when Travis was still 'hiding' inside and the police were trying to
contact him. I wonder how his body looked after they took him out of the tank and how much traces of him being murdered it made disappear.

Of course if footage shows up where you can hear Travis negotiate with the police then the thing I just said can be filed under 'Bullshit'
