Apparently they just announced that for 10 days the CHAZ area streets will be closed to everyone but residents and business owners.
Protesters say "Who will go to the business for 10 days if the street are closed" errr Its so the owners can clean up THE MESS YOU LEFT YOU MORONS

In this particular case, it is fortuitous that Durkan grossly misunderstood the situation, believe the mob to be appeased by her action and be shocked that it was not the case.

When you have have anarchy that is what you get (if true) you have your selves to blame.

Also it is not againts the constitution to "arrest protesters" if they are rioting, committing illegal acts, or violent.

realistically speaking Itd be more damaging in the long run to not let them hang themselves. I'm angry because of their bullshit I'm out 2k out of my savings and that's not even including the expense of op free cabbit. but to strike now will only pour gasoline on an all consuming fire and will reignite more passion. the best course of action is to either let themselves burn out to embers to stomp out or let them continue until the government has no choice to intervene.

I have a feeling it isn't over yet for Chaz and durkan. There's gonna be some chapped asses over Chaz being yoinked away and now everyone knows just how precious durkan's state provided address anonymity is to her.. That's gonna make for some interesting times. Especially with that dumpster rat Sawant agitating things further.

Durkan opened pandora's box and there's no putting that mess back inside.

As for Chaz, I've heard chatter that they're gonna head down to Portland again for another go at it. Here's hoping for more entertainment!

Portland police also seem to holding having very little of the BS of the protesters last night as soon as the protesters threw bottles filled with who knows what in them at cops, the CS gas was deployed quickly.

I am thinking its party because protesters burnt down a police station, but they were tearing down attempts at a occupataion zone as soon as they try and set up road blocks before the arson.

Around 1:30am, a metallic-painted SUV (reported as sliver or gold, hard to tell at night) began driving aggressively and opened fire in the direction of the tents at Cal Anderson Park, allegedly in response to someone throwing fireworks at their car. Around 3:00 am a white Jeep SUV is seen driving erratically around the perimeter of the zone, and someone on the radio squawks that this is the guys from before back to shoot up the zone and to "shoot anyone in an SUV, any SUV, it could be anyone!" This is what we call "premeditation". So, dumbshit gunners open fire on the white Jeep, which swerves and runs into the barricade by the pora-pottys (not exactly a vehicle attack, unless they're racist against chemical toilets). Gunfire continues and the 16 year-old black driver is executed at close range. The panenger side window (which was rolled up, making a drive-by shooting very difficult) is smashed in and the 14 year-old black passenger is dragged out, given basic medical aid and brought to the hospital. Other Chazistani Guards move the vehicle and clean up the scene of the crime.

The whole of the "security team" are all now accessories to premeditated, first-degree murder. This is why they were absent this morning while the cops cleared the area.

If they gave a fuck about black lives, justice, or police accountability, there would be a line of people at the police station to testify about the murder. They're not though.
So, all of their ideals are bullshit, and everyone who knows what happened and is hiding the murderer is an accessory after the fact, at best.
