Revolt in 2100 had a part similar to this (at least in the audiobook version I listened to on YouTube). There is a small nation that is purely ancap where they dump people unhappy with the government. Of course the idealistic PoV character goes on about how he'll buy a plot of land and make his own way in the world. He's mugged almost immediately and thrown in jail.Actually I had a similar idea. Leave the CHAZ in place so that every Anarcho-Communist can migrate there to be amongst their people, live by their philosophy, and really make a go of it.
Your teenager starts sounding off about communism? Bam, bus ticket to CHAZ. Useless brother in law. Bam, kick him out of a speeding car outside the CHAZ.
Seattle could take the bullet for the nation by creating an open air containment zone/mental asylum.
I'd like to pick a bit of land somewhere. Let's say the US, carve out a few areas each about the size of a couple of cities, declare one commie land, one ancap land, etc. They're effectively their own countries with three rules. They must accept any US citizen that wants to join them, they are to receive no foreign aid, and people that want to rejoin the US can do so at the USAs discretion.
I see lefty memes existed in the soviet union too.
What experiment was that? Why was that an experiment?I miss when social experiments were some guy punching a bear trap.
Was there any maps of CHAZ? I don't mean a drone shot of the roads they claimed, I mean a listing of what was where? It would be interesting to see what the final set up of this little experiment was.
