Within less than two years I had gained a clear understanding of Social Democracy, in its teaching and the technique of its operations.

I recognized the infamy of that technique whereby the movement carried on a campaign of mental terrorism against the bourgeoisie, who are neither morally nor spiritually equipped to withstand such attacks. The tactics of Social Democracy consisted in opening, at a given signal, a veritable drum-fire of lies and calumnies against the man whom they believed to be the most redoubtable of their adversaries, until the nerves of the latter gave way and they sacrificed the man who was attacked, simply in the hope of being allowed to live in peace. But the hope proved always to be a foolish one, for they were never left in peace.

The same tactics are repeated again and again, until fear of these mad dogs exercises, through suggestion, a paralysing effect on their Victims. Through its own experience Social Democracy learned the value of strength, and for that reason it attacks mostly those in whom it scents stuff of the more stalwart kind, which is indeed a very rare possession. On the other hand it praises every weakling among its adversaries, more or less cautiously, according to the measure of his mental qualities known or presumed. They have less fear of a man of genius who lacks willpower than of a vigorous character with mediocre intelligence and at the same time they highly commend those who are devoid of intelligence and will-power.

The Social Democrats know how to create the impression that they alone are the protectors of peace. In this way, acting very circumspectly but never losing sight of their ultimate goal, they conquer one position after another, at one time by methods of quiet intimidation and at another time by sheer daylight robbery, employing these latter tactics at those moments when public attention is turned towards other matters from which it does not wish to be diverted, or when the public considers an incident too trivial to create a scandal about it and thus provoke the anger of a malignant opponent. These tactics are based on an accurate estimation of human frailties and must lead to success, with almost mathematical certainty, unless the other side also learns how to fight poison gas with poison gas. The weaker natures must be told that here it is a case of to be or not to be.

I also came to understand that physical intimidation has its significance for the mass as well as for the individual. Here again the Socialists had calculated accurately on the psychological effect. Intimidation in workshops and in factories, in assembly halls and at mass demonstrations, will always meet with success as long as it does not have to encounter the same kind of terror in a stronger form. Then of course the Party will raise a horrified outcry, yelling blue murder and appealing to the authority of the State, which they have just repudiated. In doing this their aim generally is to add to the general confusion, so that they may have a better opportunity of reaching their own goal unobserved.

Their idea is to find among the higher government officials some bovine creature who, in the stupid hope that he may win the good graces of these awe-inspiring opponents so that they may remember him in case of future eventualities, will help them now to break all those who may oppose this world pest.

Sounds mighty familiar, doesn't it?

This is a fun plot twist. There is now a counter recall effort to remove Sawant from office for abusing her office and creating a criminal environment:

The complaints against Sawant focus on ethics and abuse of office issues that have already been the subject of complaint including the use of her office to promote the Tax Amazon initiative and the sway her Socialist Alternative political group has in her City Hall office. The recall organization also cites Sawant’s role in recent protests including a march and rally at Mayor Durkan’s home, providing access for a brief occupation of City Hall, and for creating “a Criminal Environment Around the Capitol Hill Occupation Protest (CHOP) Zone and Capitol Hill Endangering Residents and Businesses and Devaluing Businesses and Real Estate Values.”

Sawant's zombies are already trying to paint the organizer as some outsider or right-winger, but he's a District 3 resident, and mos def part of the woke left:

Lou currently works as the development director at Capitol Hill nonprofit Three Dollar Bill Cinema where he is working to raise donations for the Seattle Queer Film Festival and the city transgender-focused Translations Film Festival.

The comments are good,too, as CHAZ supporters get mad at Sawant for changing the focus of CHAZ to Tax Amazon, instead of BLM.

They're all slapping at each other. Oh, that's some good lol right there.

It's less that they pushed too far left and more that they realize that Sawant and her ilk make them look bad. Don't get me wrong, they're not worried about their own elections. It's Seattle. Durkan and Inslee could literally show up to any given person's house and personally take a shit on their bed and that guy would still vote Democrat, but it's more about the perception of Democrats in swing states.

Oh, I didn't mean "too far left", most of these people don't believe in such a concept. I meant "too far into open violence". Not that they care about most of the people suffering the violence, but marching on Democrat politicians' mansions? That's the "too far".

I think its more about Sawant personally. Lots of people in the district 3 think about her like I do - she's an single-minded idiot who never misses an chance to grandstand, and its always anti-capitalist bullshit. So business owners big or small, liberal or conservative, don't like her for her economics. And now #BLM is mad at her because she saw a spotlight and jumped in it so she could threaten Jeff Bezos as usual. Any activity she sees as a chance to go for Amazon, and the people who are actally part of their own causes are getting mad at this annoying idiot is who keeps showing up to "support them" and keeps yelling violently about something else. I really don't think they are worried about optics, the Seattle bubble is cozy, strong, and reflective. This is more like "this space is for cause A, but she keeps coming and yelling about cause B! WAAAaaaaaahhhhhmmmbulaaaance". Might even just be the classic BLM "you aren't Black by our definition, so support us by repeating us but also shut the fuck up."

are council Kshama Sawant and another female march leader who is not identified yet.

During the protests cars were being used to block streets, guide the protests, etc. They were numbered from 1 to 10 (or 11 or 12 or...)

What we know about the unidentified woman:
Probably some big shot. Not even sure she's from Seattle.
It was very important that her face, arms, legs, ... were always covered so nobody could recognize her.
She was constantly surrounded by security, most of the time she was walking ahead of the other protesters; other protesters were not allowed to come near her.

Here are 2 of her bodyguards. The big black guy was seen earlier as security at CHAZ. The small guy we don't know yet.

It was not allowed to film her or take pics of her. Security will keep an eye out for that and every time she passed by some journos they would immediately point
their phones in another direction/downwards. They were well instructed beforehand. Therefor footage of her is rare. Especially good quality footage.

It seems she's missing some pigment on her left hand; she always seems to use the same black bullhorn megaphone.

I wonder if this is the same woman whose face was caught on camera ordering people to get rid of evidence after the shooting incident with the two black boys in CHAZ. If it isn't, whatever happened to her?
