CHAZ/CHOP: Autonomous No Cop Zone and Commune Declared In Seattle - Render unto Warlord Raz what is owed to Warlord Raz

TK the Seattle leader of the BLM marches had a car accident.
The car is total loss and she/he/xer is in hospital.
Only, I couldn't find a single article about this nor did SPD mention anything about it.
She doesn't mention anything about it on her social media, neither does her mother or her twin sister. Smells fishy.

A GoFundMe has been set up and in less than 2 days it reached more than 21000$
Copy-Pasta:
"Hi, Tk is an amazing organizer who marches for Black folks on the daily. Today Tk was hit by a driver causing the car to then hit a tree and spiral down hill. The car is now totaled and Tk is severely injured from the neck, back, and rib cage. Tk was rushed to the hospital by an ambulance and is now undergoing multiple diagnosis procedures. Tk is currently stable and responsive. I am raising funds for Tk to cover the cost of the car and also so she can recover without worrying about finances. Thank-you so much for supporting her. Thank-you for having her back!"

A few weeks ago she was tackled and ended up in hospital. It wouldn't surprise me if a hospital pic from that event was used.

what...why should people foot the bill? Surely Insurance will cover it all!

Just like insurance will cover fully all those businesses that were looted and burnt to the ground.

If anybody is thinking of living, no VISITING Seattle metropolitan area, show them this thread.

Seattle is practically unsalvageable. Each passing day, they incorporate some bullshit that screws over the average citizen. Wait, you can't call them citizens for some reason.

I see why the rest of Washington, Oregon and California are red.

It is pretty stupid. We have to get passports or enhanced drivers licenses to fly on domestic flights because we hand out government IDs to illegal immigrants like tortillas.

King County Charter Amendment #3

We celebrate the diversity of King County and work to ensure all programs and services are welcoming and inclusive for all. The county serves everyone, including residents who do not have citizenship. Our county charter currently refers to people mostly as “public” or “residents”; in just a few places does it use “citizen” where it isn’t necessary to make that distinction. Every resident deserves the ability to be actively involved in helping shape the functioning of county practices and services. County employees do not inquire about citizenship status unless required by state or federal law. Our charter should not imply citizenship requirements where none exist. This amendment would selectively replace the word “citizen” with “resident” or “public” except in one place where it refers to qualifi cations to hold public offi ce.The Offi ce of the Ombuds (as the Offi ce of Citizen Complaints is now known) is required by county code to accept complaints from any source. This amendment aligns the charter with this long-standing practice to ensure all residents can fi le complaints. It also aligns with the long-standing practice of not inquiring about citizenship of members of the Charter Review Commission. We urge you to vote Yes to approve this amendment.
- Statement in favor, Official Local Voter's Pamphlet; Provided by Toby Nixon (member of Kirkland City Council), Kathy Sakahara (Lobbyist and "coach"), Rich Stolz ("Community Activist" and CEO of OneAmerica "the largest immigrant and refugee advocacy organization in Washington State")
King County Charter Amendment 3 would provide a small but meaningful change to the county charter for clarity and inclusivity. A yes vote on King County Charter Amendment 3 would update the charter to change references of “citizen” to “resident” or “public” depending on the circumstances. This revision would address several references in the charter to citizenship being necessary to access certain aspects of county government.
In a review of the document last updated on October 1, 2019, some references to "citizens" include enabling effective citizen participation in the county and investigating complaints against county government. Every member of the public should be empowered to participate in local government. Vote "Yes" on King County Charter Amendment 3.
- Progressive Voters Guide
While King County has passed policies specifically prohibiting discrimination based on immigration status—besides, erm, voting rights and the ability to run for office—the language in the King County Charter doesn't necessarily reflect those policy changes.
Throughout the charter, the term "citizen" is generally used to mean "person who lives in King County." Citizenship is not and should not be a requirement to access government services and institutions of county government. As such, it's about freakin' time for the county to update the way it officially refers to the people who live here.
This amendment changes references to "citizenship" in the charter to either "public" or "resident." So phrases like "citizen participation" would change to "public participation." The amendment also changes the "Office of Citizen Complaints" to the "Office of Public Complaints," which would prompt a change to the county code if approved by voters.
This amendment would not, however, change the charter's reference to "citizenship" when it defines who can run for office. So passing this amendment will not grant noncitizens the right to hold public office in Washington. Indeed, another fight for another election.
At a time when the Trump administration has consistently assailed citizenship for immigrants, these seemingly small changes to the charter preserve the rights of all of our neighbors and friends to access services they have a right to. This one is a no-brainer. Vote yes.

Renewd lockdowns for the state of Washington announced yesterday.

Typical reactions from anti-Inslee voices, and not only is the right pissed off, but the left says "we're screwed", too. No word on if Capitol Hill and Olympia protests violate the outdoor gathering restriction, mostly because no reporters asked, and Inslee's handlers probably want to avoid the quesiton from anyone. But it looks like both the right ("we saw plenty of complaints about outdoor rallies for Donald Trump, but no complaints about Biden victory celebrations and block parties breaking out last week all over the country, including dozens in this State.") and the left ("When the Emerald followed up after the press conference with Inslee’s office to ask whether there will be any penalties imposed on individuals who do not follow these new restrictions, the office said that the question of enforcement is a job for local law enforcement.") want to know - are protesters on either side or both sides subject to the 5-person-only outside rule, too?

A reporter hit Inslee with a pretty good question today. Paraphrased- "With restaurant transmission rates accounting for 0.5% of the state's covid cases, why are you doubling down on the draconian lockdown?" He answered by saying we know that restaurants are causing high covid transmission. No citation, no hard numbers, not shit. For those of you that don't know him, he's the god of accusing people of being science deniers.

I was watching that too and at first I thought that was some prime gotchya journalism, but he made a good point where you have to take your mask off to eat and that's long, unmasked exposure in close proximity to others indoors. So if you believe masks help, then that makes sense to me and I'm willing to give him a pass on that, I guess. It seemed like he left the door open to limited outdoor dining, so everyone can get their heat lamps and sit outsid. He's also doign the same to gyms, outdoor classes are okay, and so that at least is consistent. Didn't see if barbershops and salons are on the hit list again.

Outdoor dining during a Seattle winter. Did you go outside today? It pissed rain for about 12 hours. Most of the places to eat around here only have a sidewalk outside their front door and lack dedicated parking spaces to set up a tented seating area. It's going to be impossible for the vast majority of restaurants in the area to comply with this.

He does make the point that people without masks in enclosed spaces spread covid, generally speaking. When practically applied to Washingtonians and their behaviors during the last 6 months, almost no one has had their illness traced back to a restaurant. They also don't report the number of cases traced to protests, grocery stores, weed stores, and casinos, all of which were deemed essential or outside the control of a gubernatorial order. The last time they reported the number, something like 60% of the cases traced back to people's own homes. He may have a point, but that point is quickly buried under the mile high pile of "data" he uses to drive his administrative decisions. "Data" may also be interchangeable with "demands of state unions."

Lots of good points @ForTheHoard. Maybe stupid or naive but I still think Inslee is acting in good faith, I do think he's trying to save lives and not let the healthcare system drown. If that's a miguided mission I dont know. I go back and forth on this a lot, on one hand yeah, its going to be really tough for restaurants and any kind of outdoor dining. But I also remember that restaurants like Broadway Grill and COastal Kitchen and even small places like Hopvine and Roanoke Tavern and lots of others do have outdoor seating and made it work all these years in the PNW with heat lamps and those white plastic covers, and all the restaurants in the Pike-Pine corridor used to have outdoor seating and all the restaurants in MAdison Park or Leschi have patios or whatever and its the crazy building boom in the past 10 or 15 years that erased patios and decks and outdoor seating for maximum square footage for ground floor retail. So yeah, outdoor dining in Seattle in winter can be terrible, but it also has been a thing in years past. But then again, any restaurants that opened in Neo-Seattle or a new building without outdoor seating are probably fucked now. Is that covids fault, is that Inslee's fault, is it the fauly of the developers trying to squeeze every dollar out of shitty building designs, or is it the Seattle government for letting Seattle's pioneer spirit be turned into Lego City, or is it the fault of people getting together anyway despite covid, or is it the fault of the restaurant owners for not learning to code? I dont know the answer but the numbers are going nuts and Inslee has to do something, anything. Maybe this will be a wake up call for people to stop doing whatever is that is causing the virus spread (Everyday March?) and the numbers will trend down like back in April, or maybe it is some left-wing or right-wing conspiracy or who knows, I don't have any answers except what the news says and what all the retards in the covid and election thread sperg about. I guess I'll order takeout and watch the Seahawks at home instead of watching at Roanoke. Restaurants fail all the time, covid or no covid, so the ones that figure this out come out strong for when things are back to normal, and if they fail then someone else is going to figure out how to get food to lazy hipsters for a profit.

The Everyday March won't stop, but apparently a lot of the spread can be traced to people's homes, presumably they're hanging out with friends and catching it that way. I guess we'll see if this lockdown does anything. It wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't work as well as hoped, which makes me nervous that this will be a repeat of the spring where "two weeks" turned into three months.

Also, politicians need to give up on the idea of stopping the virus entirely. Worry about hospital capacity only. The U.S. can't follow the kind of containment that works in small, insular, *obedient* Asian countries.

Hah. This time "two weeks" will be until 99% of the world population is vaccinated. At which point something new will pop up and we will need to lockdown from that.

Accept your new normal peon.

Here is some fun stuff, looks like authorities are sifting through the communications from the summer and trying to figure out who was responsible for the East PRecinct surrender which led to the beginning of CHAZ/CHOP. At a glance it looks like first police authorities were saying they wouldn't abandon the EAst Precinct, then they did it anyway, and with cops gone, it was left to Seattle Fire Department to try and keep CHAZ protestors from torching the building. Hilariously, despite Raz mocking the idea that he was a warlord, Seattle Fire Department officials were messaging with him and pleading with him to help stop the building from being torched, since he was in control of the CHAZ security.

Capitol Hill Seattle blog highlights some parts, adds extra comentary and has links to other roundups.

Don't forget you can keep up with Raz's music or add him as a facebok friend.

It's unreal to me that Raz is still just out and about like nothing ever happened with absolutely no consequences for his actions. It shouldn't be surprising but it still is.

The videos of him handing out AR's seemed like the smoking gun. Washington changed their laws a couple years ago to make private transfers and "gun loaning" very illegal. This is also coming from a city that has tried to outlaw guns numerous times but are unable to legally do so as Washington's constitution has its own 2nd amendment style provisions. I'm just convinced they don't want to charge non-whites with crimes to disarm people that call them racist, even though they're probably the pinnacle model for how liberal cities can police. The police here have been under significant reform for over a decade and Obama used it as an example of what policing "could" be.

Ammon Bundy is out and about after all the BS he's pulled in his life.
America sure does love it's terrorists.

Small world. Mayor Durkan was a federal prosecutor when that was going down and made a bunch of public comments that they were terrorist and should get life or the rope. It got shoved in her face a few times when she was defending Antifa trying to destroy the East precinct.
