It's official, Chris is just trying to garner sympathy from his new high school Facebook friends at this point.

Yep. I think we're witnessing a major public image overhaul here. His last post touched on breast cancer, love for mom, and cute animals (gotta appeal to all the important demographics). Chris is really getting busy. Of course, his efforts will ultimately be in vain. First, Chris is a self-centered, whiny, asshole at heart. No matter how many of these empty/superficial gestures he makes, the real Chris will come shining through eventually. Also, nothing he does will ever counter-balance the huge volume of information about him that is already circulating on the Internet (and probably will continue to do so for at least a decade).

As far as this new group goes, just wait until Chris starts to prattle on and on about how he 'cultivated the first generation of high-functioning autistic people' (and therefore, they should all be in awe of him because of his vastly superior intellect). Chris has always considered himself far superior to other autistics and held himself up as some sort of paragon; speaking of others with his condition with disdain. I'm surprised that he's even considering being remotely associated with individuals he views as so inferior to him.

On another note, it looks like this group is holding a silent auction, and they're soliciting donations. If Chris wanted to make an actual meaningful gesture, he could donate some of his 'classic' video games, toys, and movies. Of course, we all know the likelihood of that happening.

In reconnecting with his peers he's probably seeing that not only do they have families, careers, and social lives, but that they are also involved in or support any number of causes.

Since Chris can't convincingly fake A, B, or C, his only move is to start kicking D into overdrive.

It's kind of cute, really. Chris is trying to act like an adult in front of his high school classmates so he doesn't look like a complete adult autistic child. We all know better, of course.

He hates other autistics, yes, but he does seem to want a cure so he can get a sweetheart (although he probably has a bunch of other psychiatric problems needing fixing afterwards).

Unfortunately most (loud) HFA's despise these sorts of research labs because it would be eugenic which means 'HURR NAZIS EEVILLL!!!!!' to the layperson.

Actually, it isn't autists he hates. It's folks with aspergers (who he thinks "steal the limelight" away from him) and folks with mental retardation (who he sees as "windows into hell.")
Which is all self-hatred. Because "High Functioning Autism" is just 80's psychologist jargon for what is now called Asperger Syndrome. Which makes HIM an Aspie.
And his habit of dressing like the worlds least appealing/least convincing drag queen is...lets be honest....a sign of HIM being a WEETAHD.

Actually, he hates anyone who isn't Christian Weston Chandler.
