Very true. I just meant in this instance the thing he want is less tangible (than getting his passwords back or just agreeing so someone shuts up), and nobody actually told him 'you must do X to get X'. Unless of course somebody told him to do it.

He hates other autistics, yes, but he does seem to want a cure so he can get a sweetheart (although he probably has a bunch of other psychiatric problems needing fixing afterwards).

Unfortunately most (loud) HFA's despise these sorts of research labs because it would be eugenic which means 'HURR NAZIS EEVILLL!!!!!' to the layperson.

There's actually a lot of really good reasons most autistics hate shit like this. Other than the borderline eugenic bullshit, there's also the fact that these groups tend to treat autistic people as awful tragic problems instead of people, go out of their way to silence them, and in general are just ten kinds of gross.
