I'm reading the high school article on the CWCki and "A Week with Chris Chandler."

The CWCki said he may have gone to Manchester High and was mainstreamed but took special ed classes.

During his typical week, he had English, trig, computer graphics, Spanish II, photography, contemporary living and coping skills. English may have been for special ed students, but the rest look like mainstream classes. He may have had 2 special ed classes out of 7 for his seinor (sic) year.

and was either sleeping or reading goosebumps during all of them
He probably didn't sleep through Spanish, since he claims he's fluent in the language.

Spec Ed kids usually are automatically enlisted in an Honor Roll.
Wait, what? How does that work? Slow-in-da-minds get to just have a commendation that normal kids are expected to work for?

In AN honor roll, not necessarily THE honor roll. It's been speculated that Chris was put on an honor roll for sped kids. Kinda hard to tell, considering how hard it is to nail down whether the school counted him among Gen Pop or not, what with his mix of mainstream and sped classes.

What's less uncertain is that his inclusion on any honor roll was more a parting gift than anything, a "thank you for not suing us" present.

It could be possible he got a "motivational" sticker on some school work. You know, those stickers that say "Great Job!" or "Superstar" or a smiley face. He could of gotten one that said "Honor Roll" by dumb luck, and he thought he was actually on the honor roll.

As for being on the "real" honor roll, it's not impossible. As willfully ignorant and gullible Chris is, there is nothing suggesting Chris sucks at rote memorization, which is all you really need to get decent grades in public school.

He wore the special honor roll bib at his graduation, so he probably was really on it. I don't really find it all that surprising, honestly. His school obviously didn't even care enough to keep their students awake in class, so why would we think they upheld stringent honor roll standards?

Given that he is now claiming to have a bachelor's degree on his match.com account, you may very well be correct.

Except I think he did get something special to wear with his cap and gown that signified him as being on the honor roll. If my CWCology is correct, I believe he wore his high school cap, gown and honor roll accessory to his college graduation as well.

Remember when it was reported that Chris played a Chess game on the PS3 (or vita, can't recall which)? I think he got quite a few trophies on it, some of them rather impressive.

Whatever happened there, it really does make one question just how intelligent he REALLY is. Maybe he is smarter than we think, but because of how lazy he is, puts it all to waste.

Two words: easy mode.

I would agree with the assessment that on top of the lack of common sense and autism, his IQ is low in general. He's obviously not full blown mentally retarded, but he's rather slow.

My personal opinion would be Average IQ(95-110). The A-loggers try to get an ego boost by under reporting the man-childs IQ but I don't really see it. In fact, knowing the special education procedures of the north east. They probably did IQ test him and the results are next to the autism diagnosis papers. It's not idiocy that's stopping him from accomplishing his goals. It's his shitty attitude and entitlement issues that are the root cause.

Laughing so hard right now

And then he fucking tried to convince everyone his house was protected by the spirit of Young Chris.

The thing though is that even so called "high IQ" people believe in wacky shit. I know way too many Ivy-league people that are proponents of "organic food" and "reiki crystals".

Yes, smart people do believe weird stuff. Michael Shermer wrote a book about it.

But most smart people don't believe that their childish online comic has a billion fans and that Shigeru Miyamoto wants to make a multimillion dollar franchise of the comic. Granted, Chris thinks more with his emotions than his intellect, so his dumb mistakes may not necessarily be the result of stupidity.

Chris is an average intellect at best, and even then he's in the low average range.

But he didn't believe it. It was a story he made up while posing as a troll to scare away other trolls he thought were going to dig up Patti.

I think he's in the realm of average intelligence too but considering he was never taught how to deal with his autism and had shitty parents seems to have resulted in some very bizarre line of reasoning that can be downright hilarious/fascinating. I think of his mind as a connect-the-dots. While most people have their dots numbered, Chris only has every other dot numbered. So when everyone else finishes to reveal a picture of a cat Chris will have managed to come up with a snail making love to what looks to be Abe Lincoln.

Are you guys kidding? No way is he of average intelligence. I would give him 79 at best. He cannot cook, clean, work, or look after himself in the most basic sense of personal hygiene.

He could, he just doesn't have the discipline or motivation (as in he's lazy). I'd call him low-average because even when he does try to exercise his brain it's not real impressive.

Based on his gullibility alone I don't think he can be called anything but dull, and that seems generous to me. He lacks basic pattern recognition, his memory is garbage, I can't think of a single traditional marker of intelligence where Chris displays even an adequate aptitude. The fact that he's theoretically capable of taking care of himself if given sufficient motivation isn't saying much. Someone with an IQ of, say, 80 isn't quite as stupid as the number may sound and could do everything Chris can hypothetically do but doesn't. People with IQs in the 80s are perfectly capable of finding jobs and supporting themselves.

"But Chris could do that too, he's just lazy" you might say. That may be true, but that certainly doesn't imply he's any MORE intelligent that the trainables who not only have the potential to take care of themselves but do so.

This is easily one of my favorite Chris pictures.

It's the kind of thing where if I saw it and read the story behind it and I wasn't acquainted with Chris already, I'd believe he was some sort of strange comic genius.
