Chris and Shaving

...soooooo jumping through the comments, I'm gonna guess I'm probably in the minority who dry shaves around here. Granted, I just shave the underside of my chin and keep my beard trimmed, but it's doable.
Fact is Chris isn't using a straight razor (no pun intended) in the video and instead is using a regular disposable razor. it would take a helluva lot of effort to really cut himself deeply. Judging by the way he was shaving himself, he probably got some razor's burn, maybe a nice nick or five, but nothing detrimental. Just another war-like tribulation he would have to overcome. Seriously though, if he is going to shave himself like he's grating cheese, he might as well do that while in the shower.
As for shaving his entire body.... eh, I guess he just likes looking like a 7-year old.
Perhaps he has a small dose of Chaetophobia? (fear of facial hair... hooray Google search)

Yeah, it's not about dry shaving, it's about the way in which he was violently pulling his sking with the razor, i know that safety razors can't do too much harm, but chris is the guy that gave up on learning skating because, surprise, he fell down and scratched his knee, so, one would think that he would feel something by shaving like that...

Chris however seems to have no qualms with sleeping in a bed he shat in, sticking his duck in the snow for the hell of it, living in a house infested with bugs, and whatever Bluespike forced him to do. This isn't to inflate Chris' ego or anything as some sort of superhuman; I'm just saying considering all of this, shaving his face like a baboon isn't that bizarre.

Holy fuck, watching Chris shave is fucking painful! I don't use shaving foam myself, but that's because I shave in the shower! Never shave dry, man! DAYUM!
I'd also like to say that Chris' technique is diabolical, just slashing at his face and knocking the blade off many times, plus NOT RINSING THE BLADE BETWEEN STROKES, with that ugly carpet on his chin, he probably went through at least three blades.
As for Barb teaching him to shave, I could make a crack about Barb shaving her face but I won't. It's not like Chris didn't have a father, Bob is a lazy man here and should have taught Chris to shave. Hell I come from a single parent family, and I shave better than Chris (although that could be due to my mum getting her partner to teach me)!
Also, Chris put his duck in ice for 15 minutes? Why and when?

If he can find five minutes each morning to shave, WTF can't he find half an hour a week to bathe? It's as baffling as why someone as stupid and reckless as Chirs is in relatively good health.
Also I share OP's views on facial hair. It looks great on some men, but not on me. I hate shaving though so I only do it for special occasions and just trim it short the rest of the time.

Ummmm, he can find any amount of time to do anything. He could drop everything for a week to do an oil pastel of barb, or learn Chinese, or write a book about his troubles.Drawets Rednaxela said:

You have to remember that his greasy skin probably acts as a lubricant for a smoother shave.
