Not at any big studios atleast. He still did some consulting for owlcat and their new pathfinder game, but they are russian, so they probably care far less about him being canceled. Could see other eastern european devs hire him, they never cared much for seething in the US. Just look at how the devs of Kingdom Come: Deliverance dealt with screeching from the US that they should include black people in their historically accurate depiction of 15th century Bohemia.
And in more recent memory, Factorio.
I could even see a new studio use this to get him in cheap and heavily advertise his involvement, not caring about the dilating and betting on fans of his classic games coming out in force to support the project.

at some point the retarded woke shit will be on the downtrend (if it isn't already), he's still a notorious/fondly remembered (take your pick) name, if he's still looking for work at that point I can easily see a company using that as marketing - and maybe get some of the real fans interested in it, depending how honestly they want to make a good game.

In the past few years, much of top computer RPG's were made by Europoor studios. Americans now release mostly cookie-cutter third-person shooters. What was once being done by a whole studio like Black Isle or Bioware, is now created by the moral equivalent of five Serbs working in their spare time.
There's also plenty of goodwill left for MCA everywhere you look (NMA, Codex, etc.). He's going to find a fulltime job when he looks for it, instead of being a walking talking Kickstarter stretch goal.

I thought Chris might have a chance with working with Mark Kern, but I rescinded that as I read his Medium arcticles.
Chris is still blue-pilled on things like "Never Apologize" (someone should have rephrased it better for him as "Never apologize to a Twitter mob. They don't want your apologies, they want to destroy you") and thinking taking accusers to court is "silencing victims."
Any chance of him red-pilling on these thoughts comes too little, too late.

Surprised there isn't a legal thread. Anyway, the motion to quash/strike/dismiss (anti-slapp) was filed on July 19th, as was the opposition to it on July 29th. A hearing will be held on August 11th.

Karissa claims she took screenshots of the tweets Chris deleted, but she and her dumb fuck attorney overlooked Jackie's (@GeekyFriedRice) avatar in the pictures, who was logged in when the screen shots were taken. Why didn't they just get an affidavit from her? She could've authenticated the tweets instead of having the defendant lie under oath.

Legendary RPG writer Chris Avellone is suing the people who accused him of sexual misconduct in 2020.
The suit was filed in Los Angeles, California and the causes of action are Libel Per Se, six counts (paragraphs 19, 32, 43, 54, 67, 78, of the complaint), for which Avellone prays for judgment against Defendants as follows (page 16):
- For actual and special damages, including emotional distress damages;
- For general damages;
- For costs of suit;
- For punitive damages; and
- For equitable relief in the form of a positive injunction.
Plaintiff has demanded a trial by jury.
The exhibits start on page 19 of the complaint and end on page 94. They include things like tweets written by the accusers and news articles written by prominent games journalists.

Getting someone drunk so you can penetrate them is no different to spiking someone's drink with a roofie. It is rape. Women don't owe you sex..
I worked in a pub in my youth and we had a dude who kept coming up to the bar asking us to stick a vodka in his female companion's drink every time she went to the bathroom. I got suspicious, went to the bathroom and told her. She was livid. She just wanted coke as she didn't drink alcohol and he was her boyfriend's work colleague. Her boyfriend was supposed to meet her, but was running late.
If you have to get women drunk in order to get laid then the problem is you.
And plenty of men who have slipped alcohol in womens' drinks have impregnated women because they didn't wear a condom or have been violent in bed due to the popularity of sexually violent and degrading pornography which revolves around the sodomy and humiliation of women.

Slipping anything into someone's drink unbeknownst to them is of course rape, but that's not what I was talking about, I was talking about a woman willingly getting drunk, if you're considered responsible if you're drunk and you get into a car and drive, then you should be considered responsible if you were drunk and had sex with someone.
And why the bias towards men? If both a man and a woman get drunk and have sex, why is it only the man's fault? The same argument could be made that the woman raped the man if they were both drunk and drunk = can't consent.
It's a retarded argument that takes women's agency and responsibility away, it's ironically sexist towards women (not smart enough to be responsible) and towards men at the same time.

Sometimes I feel like people talk past each other on this topic. One person talking about a guy getting a girl drunk so they're easy pray, the other talking about a guy getting drunk with a girl and then sex happens. But there genuinely are people who think the latter example is just as bad as the first.

It's rapey behaviour, and quite likely assault, but it's not rape yet. It's never an innocent mistake and at absolute best it's a malicious prank, I would never condone it and would definitely consider someone doing it a potential rapist, but it's not actual rape.
Just making the point because I agree with @ddlloo that people often talk past each other about this. There's a world of difference between 'getting a woman drunk' and 'getting drunk with a woman', and conflating the two, or turning the latter into the former, has been the basis for countless #metoo accusations that don't hold up to scrutiny but scrutiny is verboten.
For people who like to accuse others of gaslighting so much, people like Avellone's accusers sure are good at doing it themselves.
