It's controversial with some but the DSM (What US mental health professional go by) changed Gender Identity Disorder to Gender Dysphoria so it's a legitimate thing as far as most western health professionals are concerned.

As regards arguments against Chris being trans, the best are built on Chris's legendary buffoonery, the conception of the "tomgirl" persona as a means of attracting women, and the fact that Chris seems to still be comfortable with masculine pronouns. I don't think how one relates to oneself and other people in terms of body and mind is quite the same as trying to wish yourself rich.

If the best you've got as to why Chris doesn't know what he's talking about is "Does dressing like Dracula on Halloween turn you into a vampire?" then, frankly, you're kind of a doofus.

You know, in some species, it's the homogametic organisms that are male and the heterogametic organisms that are female.

So maybe human men and women are more than just meat tubes and chromosomes.

If chromosomes are a problem, you can always just divide sex into gamete (sperm or ovum) production instead of chromosomes. I dunno...I feel we're getting really off topic now with this whole discussion. If we want to debate on what is sex, and what is gender we can totally make a thread for it somewhere.

As for whether Chris is trans or not, don't think it matters. Male or female he's still a selfish individual with poor social skills.

Though I think I'll keep believing what my professors on the biology courses thought me. But than again, in my language, sex and gender is the same word, and male/female is synonymous with man/woman, though the former is used to most animals, while the latter is exclusively for humans. I just think the US doctors are making things up for political reasons, and acting in an un-scientific manner.

What about observing gender dysmorphia (which is what I think most people mean when they mention dysphoria, although that is another big part of the experience) is unscientific? And who benefits from these politically motivated lies?

By his mind? Oh boy, we don't know what goes in there! Maybe he truly believes he is a lesbian, or that is just a "clever" plan by him to get CHINA! and he is 'still straight!' . Or maybe he doesn't care anymore.

Perhaps the Stay Straight part was just part of his "Chris , Sonichu's Father" personality, which now gave place to the "Chris, Tomgirl" one.

Nah. Even if I was gay, I would not date Chris. I require very few things of my romantic interests, but excessive hygene is one of them. Chris's unused bathroom used to give me nightmares.
