Chris-Chan: A Comprehensive History

Where Chris says that he thinks that Barb wanted him out because she threw away old VHS tapes and other things really make me think she was sending him a message to get out.
And it just shows that Chris's biggest fear is being kicked out by Barb.
Yeah but Chris showed any independence Barb would threatened him by kicking him out of the house, this want happens when you don't let your kid make their own decisions.

I'm kind of over this series, the old episodes are worth a re-watch but it went downhill when Geno started fucking up the pro-nouns I'm waiting for the idea guy saga, till then I'm skimming the series.
Even though I'm still watching the series, I do agree with you that Geno made a big mistake by calling Chris she/her pronouns after Part 43, I know he did it to avoid YouTube demonetizing and banning him but still. Hell look Rogue Internet Man, he still calls Chris by he/him pronouns and has stated that he doesn't believe that Chris is trans and his channel is still up to this day.

Running a channel based around Chris is always going to be problematic. GiBi and Dillon Thomas? also Call chirs by the He/him pronouns. Geno made the choice rather than go neutral or just call him "Chris". Honestly "Christine" isn't asking me to accept Chris's delusions so I wouldn't care, seems like a fair compromise. The documentary becomes confusing when Chris and a female persona are spoken of simultaneously. My real complaint is nothing happens anymore; the entire episode is "B-roll" footage of chris fucking around with gov paid for toys, Chris's twitter feed, Chris shoves barb infront of the camera for more begging. It's all on repeat.

Let's hope things get interesting when Geno talks about the Idea Guys Saga.

Except... I played ACNH for a year and discovered the space ambient music for nine months and then streamed videos for five and a half months, especially Geno's doc at the last minute of the year after Xmas. At first, I read books and still lost weight. Nowadays, I had some of my stuffed animals catch up (they were on part 51) and I was 2 parts behind schedule (I am still on part 53, but I am not done yet) due to the spring break weekend and recovery from it.
Have any of your stuffed animals watched ahead of you in the series?

I wonder if this is because Geno's vids are gaining more traction that everyone else's? The more attention one gets, the more comments requiring the content to get changed becomes apparent.

Is it genuinely confusing though? The documentary usually talks about Chris, so I fail to see how one could genuinely get confused when "she" is used, as there aren't many other persons to refer to besides perhaps Barb. I get that some people feel very strongly about pronouns (on both sides of the spectrum), but I'm surprised that anyone could have trouble following what is happening because of the "wrong" pronouns.
I seem to remember Geno also stated way back that he'd use female pronouns from around the time the legal name change to Christine happens, since it just made more sense to him that way from a neutral documentary making POV. Saying "Christine" and then referring to the person as "he" shortly afterwards is somewhat less natural sounding than "she", purely from the perspective of writing and reciting a script. Chris is short for Christian and Christine both, keeping it consistent either way ought to be enough. Even Null uses female pronouns at times in his streams when referring to some Troons because it feels utterly weird to say a female name and then follow it up with "he".
Frankly, I'm surprised that people are this invested in the pronoun issue (again, on both ends of the troonery anti-troonery spectrum).

The show has its ups and downs when it comes to content at the same rate that Chris had his ups and downs in interesting activity - his life is very much "on repeat" at times. I reckon it'll pick up over the next few episodes with more comic pages and ultimately the Idea guys.
