We have been witnessing a perpetual cycle for years now with Chris such as his begging for bills (i.e lego, fast food and vidya) getting annoyed at fan fictions/pop culture he doesn't approve of and having delusional squels about his cartoon fantasy world seeking gratification and comfort trying to cope with his boring and shitty life his currently living through.
Yeah, I think a large part of it is the lack of vlog YouTube videos (Videos alone aren't good enough since nobody wants to watch Chris begging for money or boring lets watch some pony team fortress 2 nonsense), the troon and merge stuff might be interesting if Chris still used YouTube to rant at people since tweets are impersonal and boring.
Chris has no conception of other people. Everything he hears applies to him. He says in this video that he was sent to training to know how to be an aide to people with dementia. We know who that is. But Chris isn't listening. He's thinking dementia is like his autism. So therefore he has dementia. He's got the mentality of a nine year old.
It's not really a lack of effort, just that he doesn't have a reason to do it. He was usually compelled or coaxed into making videos by trolls behind the scenes. He seems to prefer posting on social media on his own.

I played ACNH for a year and discovered the space ambient music for nine months and then streamed videos for five and a half months, especially Geno's doc at the last minute of the year after Xmas. At first, I read books and still lost weight. Nowadays, I had some of my stuffed animals catch up (they were on part 51) and I was 2 parts behind schedule (I am still on part 53, but I am not done yet) due to the spring break weekend and recovery from it.
