Chris-Chan: A Comprehensive History

I was always disappointed that this documentary failed to mention one of the most notable events from Chris' past: the Guitar Hero: Be a Star Sweepstakes!

This is one of the only times Chris' notoriety actually benefitted him, as the trolls thought it would be funny if Chris won, so they flooded the votes and made him win this contest. As a result, Chris did end up about $500 richer. It's worth noting that the trolls took the 'be a star' literally, as they thought the winner of the contest would appear in the next Guitar Hero game, but instead they just win some prizes and gift cards.
It was in part 7: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOnVFhqvUNM&t=428s

I was looking through the community posts on YouTube and somebody asked how many total episodes, to which Geno replied "92". Not sure if he was being serious, but seeing as 2009-10 was like 30 episodes, it sounds right. (Geno correct me if I'm wrong)
I just don’t think there’s much to cover right now. He just ended 2018, and picked up on the Teen Troon Squad. That leads into Praetor and Chris content dries up quite a bit in 2020 with the pandemic.

You can stretch each remaining year into its own episode, but Christory ends in 2021. I’m not sure if there’s enough non-speculative material after his arrest to make a full episode. Maybe the incest saga is a two parter? The events leading up to it, Nulls discovery and the online shitstorm afterwards.

2-3 episodes was a super lowball guess, and pretty bad in retrospect. But I can’t imagine there being much more content unless there are huge swathes that I’m missing.

Well to be fair, during that time a lot of stuff was basically happening behind closed doors, and he hasn't even covered Sockness yet, an infamous orbiter of Chris's. No one would even become aware of the Watchmen, formed in 2019 until aroud late 2020, and bit by bit people are pretty much giving out little bits of Christory that happened before his arrest not seen before. I imagine that's what took Geno so long with the hiatus, because so much stuff was being leaked all at once.

Yeah, this, pretty much.

It's not that nothing happened, it's just that not much was *released* at the time. Now there is much more information about what happened. There's actually quite a bit to write about now.

Imagine being someone trying to document the holocaust in 1943. It was happening, there just wasn't much information released.

He should change it to Yakety Sax. Much more fitting.
You need footage of people running around and then playing it at double speed to be funny with Yakety Sax, and I defy you to find footage of Chris running ANYWHERE let alone for the time needed to fit the song.

A really slowed down version playing over video of Chris plodding along could be good for a laugh.

I'm really not sure how I feel about being in featured in this part. Rewatching the livestream and seeing how pathetic Chris's financial situation was reminded me of how bad I felt for him at the time. What's even sadder is that he immediately gave that $1200 to the Idea Guys.

I didn't ask Chris to post that "Thank you, Jack" video though, he did it of his own volition. You can see it in his eyes and voice how happy he was; he hadn't gotten as big of a windfall like that since the Sonic sweepstakes. Would never do something like that again though.

Also nice that people are finally understanding just how much of a good friend Null was to Chris.
You caused a lot of confusion when people were trying to figure out who was fucking with Chris's head. So, you can get fucked.
Edit: what happened to the third idea guy?
The Second idea guy posted earlier at the start of this very thread.

Ask and Ye shall recive -

I have been most thoroughly defied! 👍

I am not surprised it was a very young Chris-Chan who made this run, he sure as hell couldn't have done it in the last 10 years or so, but I AM surprised how far he got before his first edit-rest stop.

Still not sure how well it would fit with Yakety Sax, but humming along with it and imagining double-speed, it almost worked.

Let them be a lesson for parents who have an autistic child. Listen to experts when they tell you your kid needs a special school, don’t let them use the internet unsupervised, fumigate regularly, and impress upon them that sex with mommy is a bad no-no.
I disagree, his parents were right to not chuck him in the retard bin.

They shouldn’t be isolated; they should be educated but also exposed to real life in a controlled way. Not just thrown in at the deep end like Chris was.
But that's not what happens in those schools, and it is especially not what happened back then, all they do is try and teach them basic manual skills. Chris was better off being baptised in fire than getting put into the retard school.

Sub with stories about it.

They wouldn't have needed to even go to that length, the school system knew that Chris was not particularly all there and that he needed some special help, now Bob took this the wrong way and while I can understand why he would have initially been horrified to find Chris in that position where he would need "special treatment" considering the era he grew up in, they wouldn't have chucked him in some looney bin after the school would have discussed it properly with Borb.

What Chris likely needed was to have done some assisted learning classes or better yet, if Borb actually gave a damn about Chris's immediate needs, they would have found him a suitable School somewhere in Virginia that would have had a more accommodating program for autistic kids, they didn't necessarily have to go to a tard school, just a school with a better supportive program and adjusted curriculum tailored to people like Chris.

They moved once to avoid scrutiny and objectification from the wider community, this surely wouldn't have been too much to ask of them.

Guy was talking about special schools, not special programs, I talked about special schools.
