Chris-Chan: A Comprehensive History

I like Geno, but the self-referencing part felt really faggy imo. Hopefully that part will be used to frame some sort of context for the post-doc trolls so that there's some point to it
Chris was/is a big fan of Geno's videos and would comment on them through his social media channels, so it's kind of necessary for him to mention himself.

Geno has such a nice calm voice and then Chris starts up :heart-empty:

Reading the CWCki page on the Magfest adventure and looking at the pictures, I can understand why he got that impression.

There's an event horizon where people who are infamous for their failure can come to embrace it, and then the fanbase is thus effectively transformed into a true-and-honest one. People like Tommy Wiseau and James Nguyen have made that leap.

All Chris has to do is come to a self-realization and embrace it. The only question is if his psychological issues are too insurmountable to do this. The far end of the scale would be Terry Davis, whose illness became so unstoppable that there was no hope possible. I don't think Chris is quite as sick as Terry, but he's probably still too far gone. We'll see what happens.

I don't remember chris dressing like a gopnik and slav squatting but I was losing when I saw that part.

Me neither. That is why I appreciate Geno. Sometimes so much happens all in a row that it gives you whiplash, and Geno lays it all out chronologically.
Wow. This new episode sure is something to put on as background noise as I clean my kitchen!

My house is never so organized than when a new episode drops.

Seeing the start of Idea Guys really reinforces my opinion about both Chris's actual relationship with reality and what trolling is in this context. In a way, I think that the Idea Guys were the 'best' trolls. By that I mean that they were the ones that figured out the formula and followed it as far as they possibly could, ruining the potential of future entertaining trolls forever. We think of successful trolling similarly to a successful prank, but I think that Chris, subconsciously, sees them mostly as the chance to participate in a play-pretend game. The Idea Guys gave Chris the most entertaining game because they weren't really focused on an end-goal punchline. More accurately, the punchline was making Chris as crazy as possible, which is indefinite, without any eventual rug-pull.

This is similar to how I view the Chris and reality relationship. I think it's nearly identical to the way a toddler plays with an imaginary friend. I don't believe that Chris is actually delusional in a sort of clinical sense — there are no auditory or visual hallucinations of things that aren't there. Instead, the problem is that Chris is so deeply maladapted that he cannot separate appropriate times to 'play the game' with inappropriate ones. Further, he lacks the theory of mind to understand that others don't want to 'play.' Both of these together add up to a constant 'choice' to enter his fantasy realm. The idea guys 'drove Chris insane' only in that they introduced the idea of just how all encompassing the fantasy world could be.

Edit: This definitely did not age well rather quickly as the prevailing theory is that the courts have decided that the fantasies amount to inability to assist in his own defense

You're not wrong. I mean all of Chris' precious time is spent playing games; whether it's vidya or pretend. It's not like he has anything important to do like get a job or anything.

Don't mald at Geno for calling chris chan a "she" , the cancel culture is strong and it's kinda funny since it plays into the "she raped her mother with her penis" lmao it's clown world just laugh at it.
The shit is literally unwatchable because every time he indulges Chris's tranny delusions I cringe so hard my spine ejects a disc.

I'd honestly prefer if Geno just dodged it by saying "They" or "Chris".

i'm hoping part 60 being released means that Geno will be continuing posting the whole story, i remember he was hesitant to talk about the mom stuff, but i've seen plenty of people discuss it in a manner that doesn't get them demonetized. just be careful with wording and it should be all good
