Chris-Chan: A Comprehensive History

I found it to be good, but a bit long and overly serious and probably of little interest to anyone who isn't already a Christorian of some sort.

If I had no idea who Chris Chan was and wandered across this on YouTube, I would have killed it within 5 minutes and moved on. It really needed some 'hook' at the beginning to explain WHY Chris was so documented, but that's just a matter of editing.

Overall, it's got potential if it compacts things a bit more, and I am actually quite looking forward to part 2.

The part where it talks about how bob collected a lot of stuff and wanted to pass it down to Chris was sad. Chris sold the stamp collection he inherited. And all the other stuff bob left behind is ruined by being buried in a hoard. He can’t use or enjoy the things bob collected. It’s all buried. Like a grave buried. Straight razor. Africa.

yeah i would start with a better hook and maybe tone down the hyperbole of "most documented"

People are more fascinated with what Chris was than what Chris is. A thorough documentary will probably sate anyone's curiosity. As it was mentioned earlier, there are now cows that are far more interesting than what Chris is. He's basically devolved into mush, and you can't really troll mush anymore.

Yep, it's a sad truth that cows get old, and they tend to soften and then collapse.

Chris is far from the only example, Look at Derek Smart, formerly known as 'he who shall not be named' because he'd sue the fuck out of anyone who actually used his name in a negative context in the early days of the Interbutts, and protected his godawful 'BattleCruiser 3000' abortion of a space game as fiercely as Yanderedev ever protected his abortion yandere sim. Now he can barely manage to work up any outrage over Star Citizen.

Or Jenn whatsherface, the writer of batshit insane webcomics like Pastel Defender Heliotrope, and post-op troon living in a threesome who came up with this brutally de-emasuclating comic about her partner who actually made the money in the house, because he didn't code up her insanity in vidya game form.

haven't heard anything from her for years, and I don't even know if she has a thread on the farms ffs.

Sad sad facts of life, fam.

I have a account on Jennifers forum. She dont post much no more, as in, them cows getting aged advanced.

That information does seem a little accurate.

I miss the old days when Chris chan would make videos almost every day or with some regularity. And he would do his captain logs updates and talk about insane things and the trolls were always out smarting him etc and things of that nature. We need a new man of a Clyde Cash type to rise above the ween men, and say, Chris Chan it is TIME for your come uppance, and really shake things up, cwc style.

Barb's about to kick the bucket. Chris is about to be living in a really shitty situation. Do we really want a classic troll saga now?

What if Barb died halfway through? How would you feel laughing at a retard while he loses his house and risks homelessness?

Not trolling him wont make her not die. She could live 20 more years for all we know.
Certainly, but you'd be knowingly adding to his misery. It was all fun and games when he was a spry 25-year-old. Nothing mattered. He wasn't in danger of homelessness.

Things are very different nowadays.

Edit: I mean, it's not a huge deal. You're right, we won't hasten nor prevent Barb's death. But it's something to consider, at the very least.

I actually enjoyed this first part. It's pretty detailed about Chris' formative years; even more so than Sachumo's documentary (which I still love). I subscribed and can't wait for the next part.

Chris' formative years aren't documented well. Anyone who talks about them with any substance is talking out of their ass.

Maybe so but this documentary didn't really go into speculation, it just went over the points that Chris himself has revealed about his formative years.

It also provided me the answer to one question that has bothered me on and off, which is why the hell Chris's 'Spanish nickname' would be Ricardo, aka Richard in English. It made about as much sense as me having a nickname of 'Robert' or something. Yet now I know he chose it in Spanish class at the direction of his teacher, which makes sense.

Yeah, I agree. All of that information is spread out in the cwcki and various other threads. It did a good job of putting things in a chronological order that was easy to understand. The only thing I didn't like was the depressing music.

Also, that audio clip of Bob hosting a radio show got me in the feels.
