Chris-Chan: A Comprehensive History

I am a newcomer to the Chris Chan stuff-I heard of him, in passing from Fish Stick on a Stick and more in depth from Fredrik Knudson, and Wow. I watched all three parts of this Doc, this guy has got a lot of work ahead of him.

It's admirable just how in-depth the creator of this series is getting with Chris' life. We're three parts and over 90 minutes into this and he hasn't even gotten to the trolls yet. I could see this series running over 15 parts, maybe even hit 20.

These were pretty in depth. Though, part three could of just skimmed the comic details. Still, the Christmas video from 2004 kind of hits home.

I'm surprised there's so many complaints about the comic. I went into part 3 expecting it to drag on every page, but it's pretty brief about them.

And why the hell would the comics not get a little attention? They're the whole reason anyone ever gave a shit about Chris in the first place.
No, no one cared about the comics. In the early days, people who gave excessive attention to the comics themselves were suspected spergs. Many a hilarious lolcow thread was made on people who thought Sonichu itself was important to the CWC story.

It is a good insight into Chris' psychology/life though. Since it's basically nothing but projection.

Part IV is up.

I started to feel a little sad for Chris when the narrator was reading out the eulogy for Patti.

"I wanted to take the strain for signing the one-way ticket"

That actually brought the smallest tear to my eye.

"So I signed the paper, with a sad sonichu face. . ."

And then like that it was gone. Even when morning the death of the one living creature who actually cared for him (aside from Bob), he just has to include Sonichu in it somehow. Dammit Chris.

Also apparently the guy who's making this is thinking of doing a Q and A if he hits 10K subs so that should be. . .something. Who knows, if Chris catches wind of this documentary (or maybe he already has. Has he?) before that time comes maybe he'll have a few things to say. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

He's going pretty deep for this documentary. We have almost an hour and a half worth of it, and we haven't even gotten to much of the actual trolling, at least not the memorable stuff.
I don't want to ask him any questions. Just make the damn videos and upload them. When it's all done, THEN take a bow. Not before.
I agree to an extent. If it's just a regular teacher or someone with an outsider's perspective, there should be no questions asked, but if he manages to find Liquid Chris, Clyde Cash, or other members who were involved and interacted with Chris at the time, then sure, see what their thoughts on the situations were.

These documentaries are amazing, but they're not a good introduction into Chris. For that, Sachumo's documentary, or Fredrik Knudsen's Down the Rabbit Hole might be better. This series seems much more for the hardcore Chris spectators, which is good. Too many people give a brief introduction into Chris Chan for quick easy views, rather than go in depth and explore the more interesting subjects surrounding his life.
