All right, Spylobster, you've clearly shown that you're interested in making a documentary--you've done it, and done a decent job at it.
Think of this as some feedback on your plan to create a sequel:
1. Chris is an unreliable narrator. Using his "Confession" as his point of view and the truth is interesting viewing, but it's not particularly accurate. Chris' recounting of 10/28/11 and 12/26/14 is wildly different than the consensus of what people think happened.

A. This means that Chris' own point of view is, at best, very biased. Chris can be counted upon NOT to admit to criminal acts or his own great failures as a person, and lesser deeds might be concealed or otherwise distorted.
B. Contacting Chris is hard to do. The guy gets weened by Julay calls and worse frequently--and since you happen to be Male, he perceives that he has little interest in dealing with you.
C. Not that its likely to come up, but there are a few legal concerns to consider. I'm not sure whether a ween or someone could potentially do much with 10/28/11, given how Michael Snyder probably wants to be done with it, but Chris is facing trial over 12/26/14. I would advise very strongly to do no outreach on this matter, as you could find yourself peripherally in a legal case.

A. However, much of their actions and behavior are chronicled on the CWCki. It's not going to follow the same pacing, and you'll have to work a bit harder to make a film out of it, but communications and a few of Chris' responses are available online.
3. This Forum is an interesting place.
A. I'm not going to deny that we can be an irritating bunch at times. The sort of thing we're into doesn't make itself as a field for people with thin skin or sensitive feelings: There are a few trolls who wind up utterly humiliated themselves, and many posters that have wound up putting their foot in their mouth.
B. That said, as in any large group of people, you can find a consensus. People will debate whether Chris will get jail time for 12/26/14, but no one things Chris should be unpunished for it. I'd take a good listen to what everyone seems to be saying, as opposed to the loudest guy.
4. Ultimately, no one gives you permission to do this--you do it on your own.B. That said, as in any large group of people, you can find a consensus. A. No one is going to stop you from making a documentary as you see fit.
B. It doesn't mean that people are going to see you as a valued contributor, however.
5. So, you've got the source material, the ability to make a follow up, and don't need anyone else to give you asspats to get it done.B. It doesn't mean that people are going to see you as a valued contributor, however.
A. You'll still need to figure out the What and the How your follow up will work.
B. Morale and commitment is a big part of what you do. If you're not motivated, you're not working--if your morale is suffering for hanging out here, maybe coming back with a finished project in a couple months would be better.
C. As long as you have a vision and are working towards it, you'll make it happen.
If you have questions, Spylobster, you can shoot me a PM as well.B. Morale and commitment is a big part of what you do. If you're not motivated, you're not working--if your morale is suffering for hanging out here, maybe coming back with a finished project in a couple months would be better.
