That Starring Sonic level is so very Chris. In terms of 'things Chris would do in Mario Maker', a paltry attempt at recreating super Sonic must surely be in the top 5.

Huh. Uninspired, but hardly crimes against humanity. The first level is exactly the kind of thing someone would do the first time they play. The water level has potential but needs a LOT of tweaking. The castle level is a case study in stuff that probably sounds cool in your head, but doesn't actually work when you try to play through it.You are exactly correct.
But anyway here they are. Credit goes to the True and Honest Original Creator.

I see what you did there.f only chris has some drafting or design background that would help him see a big working picture of level design
Brother, Mario has an actual skillset which lead to employmentIf you take away Mario's moustache and give him some make-up, he's basically Chris. I can see how the game appeals to him.

Not having seen much of SMM, I don't suppose it has a sprite editor option to alter the color or shape of the sprites, or else he'd be on that immediately.idk most of what i personally have seen come out of mario maker looks like babies first rom hacks to me chris levels look about the same way im kinda shocked he hasn't tried to make a sonichu level
In all fairness, from what I read on the game, levels you make have to be beaten by you at least once before you upload. This means that impossible levels can't be uploaded to the servers.
I guess you could compare Chris to Wario, but even then Wario is incredibly athletic for someone so fat (he's a fatass, but a muscular one).He also has a long-term relationship and is in pretty great physical condition. If we assume Mario is 6' tall, he has an 18' standing vertical leap, and the dude can run at a non-stop sprint for, as near as I've been able to determine, forever.
In the meantime here's a shitty screen shot from my tv:
