with that said, there’s no law against driving past the house or even parking on the street and looking for lights on or any other evidence that the home is occupied. I, personally, wouldn’t do it but I’m absolutely sure there are plenty of folks out there who would.

The veteran users like StraightShooter2 for example are lolcows themselves. They often do not understand humor or satire and they act the same way Chris acts.

No, but we don't know the extent of her condition. Chris might be a caretaker just because she's 80 and has some difficulty managing daily tasks. We know she's mobile because in Chris' most recent Facebook pictures she's up and sitting at the kitchen table getting a haircut. So she's not immobile. As far as her mental state all we know is she's slow to deliver sentences and a bit spacey, but we don't know if that's just old age or a degenerative condition. We honestly know nothing about Barb and the dementia stuff goes back to the Twitch stream Chris did where Barb appeared and was acting a bit off. But there's videos a year later of her seemingly quicker on the uptake.

It is again speculation, but here are my thoughts, Chris recently posted about attending something at a local hospital to help improve his elder care. Now, I'm sure if Barb was one of probably the majority of 80 year olds who can deal with their daily business for the most part - maybe requiring some help here and there - such teaching probably wouldn't be required. I would suggest this kind of education is less, doing their weekly shop or taking them out for a meal and more how to keep them clean, how to help them maintain mobility. This I would suggest hints at Barb having very little independence.

Further, they have only announced charges for Chris. Incest is not necessarily a crime with a victim, in the sense both parties could participate and be guilty - yet they have not announced the same charges for Barb. This too fits with the idea that Barb is not able to care for herself effectively.

Plus, I know Barb has been a bad mother, but there is no hint she ever tried to fuck Chris. Whereas Chris has always had these creepy incest fantasies - maybe she finally wasn't able to resist him. Which is sickening, imagine getting progressively weaker and less lucid as your retard son starts groping you more...
