Will Chris be declared too retarded to stand trial and just be sent to a mental institute? And will Barb end up in some old folks' home? Sounds like it's going this way to be honest. I do not see any way that Chris will be able to stand trial at all. I'm sure his lawyer will tell him to just do the insanity plea. The Asylum Saga.

Chris was engaged with their mother. Their as a gender neutral pronoun.

Chris' mental gifts will take over and he'll explain everything that happened without lying because he genuinely thinks he didn't do anything wrong. Whether this lead to him being declared competent or not is a wildcard.
