It's apparently the closest charge in the state of Virginia or some stupid shit like that? Im guessing they've never had to deal with someone diddling their mentally incapacitated 79 year old mother before.

Michael Snyder is still around? Well personally I think they don't really want to hear a word about Chris ever again especially not Megan.

There is a well known problem in criminal proceedings called the CSI effect, wherein juries will question why the police didn't do all the sciencey stuff they saw on tv, even if it would be an open and shut case based on other evidence.

So modern police tend to test and preserve everything, even if it wouldn't make much sense. They definitely swapped Barb down.

I thought that too. I figure it's because using condoms is "just what you do" in his autistic brain. All the safe sex PSAs he saw and tried to mimic stressed the importance of condoms, so he's using them even if it doesn't make sense.
