Chris in 20 years?
Depends on what croaks first: Barb or the house.
Also depends on when Barb croaks. If troll interest is still alive when Barb buys the farm, Chris might get conned out of all his wordly possessions by some ween.

Otherwise, Chris will maintain his current existence of stasis for as long as possible. Eventually, the house will crumble around him and become absolutely uninhabitable. Then Chris will become a squatter, or go to jail, or die of exposure.

If the house becomes completely uninhabitable before Barb dies, she will relocate herself and Chris to some other place. Chris will continue to live there after she dies, maintaining his existence of dreadful stasis until he dies another 20 years later. The end.

Of course, the house already is uninhabitable. The roof would have to come down or a fire would have to break out before it becomes uninhabitable by Chandler standards. Both things are only a matter of time.

It's not even unreasonable that Chris might get duped by a random con, who isn't initially aware of his infamy, sooner or later. Yeah, he doesn't have much, but he's such an easy mark. There's always someone desperate enough to go after even the lowest of low hanging fruit. Josh Martinez seemed barely literate, and he still conned Chris for some length of time.

Ironically, his "trolls" have probably shielded him from a lot of that, in recent years. When Vincent eventually shoots Marvin in the head*, in the back seat of Son-chu 2, Chris is pretty much S.O.L.

*I just watched Pulp Fiction for the first time. I finally get the reference. Yay me!

Well, he used to (and probably still does) pick up change either thrown at him or found on the floor back in high school. He would have around $10 if he saved it...which he probably didn't.
 
Who knows. Chances are he'll either be in a prison cell or dead by that time. Unfortunately for him the latter is the more likely, considering his fire hazard of a cluttered house, poor car maintenance, and a complete and total lack of hygiene. But, if Chris does manage to evade prison and/or death in 20 years I imagine he'll still be his old self, a perfect mix of the Grinch and Ebeneezer Scrooge but much fatter then both combined. And in his house he'll stay, loathing anyone and anything that isn't Chris Chan until the end of his days.
 
This is OPL according to an aging app I just downloaded. See you at the 20 year reunion.

Chris will probably be either homeless or in a county jail in 20 years and probably less a leg from diabetes.

I agree. But knowing OPL and the way his thought process, he might end up getting a perma ban from the state institution. The only other place where he would possibly be accepted, as well as being tolerated, would be insane asylum, psychiatric hospital, or prison.

They don't have "insane asylums" anymore in the States. There are psychiatric hospitals, but not asylums like people think of asylums. Those went the way of Bob and the Dodo Bird decades ago because of deinstitutionalization and the way patients in asylums were treated.

Whatever happens to him will just be the continuation of his self imposed lifelong tragedy. He'll continue to try and garner pity in leu of actually applying himself no matter how bad things get for him.

My vote goes to living in that house even when it falls apart. He'll continue to dwell on the past. He'll get banned from even more places. Things could only get better for him if some uber good person helps him and by that I mean forcing him, tardraging then entire time, into a better lifestyle. However, that's a long shot since he's sort of dirty and really creepy making him easier to just avoid.
 
Maybe it's worth noting that Virginia is one of the better states to be homeless in. I can't speak for Greene County, but closer to the coast there are lots of resources for the underprivileged and homeless - both state sanctioned, church funded, or co-opted by the homeless. The weather is rarely severe enough that one couldn't subsist with just a few layers of warm clothes, a few large black garbage bags, a box or few, a couple of blankets, and a little adaptability.

It's that last one - adaptability - Chris obviously lacks. If he were homeless, and wasn't able to find a homeless community that might at least bail his ass out, that lack of adaptability will do him in. Among the homeless, Chris is probably still one of the weirder people, but definitely not the most disturbed. He probably wouldn't stick out too badly, that someone wouldn't be willing to show him where to sleep, where to get chow, or drop him off in front of an ER if he gets hurt or sick. Many homeless people will stick up for each other, when in groups.

But, again, I can only speak for being destitute around Norfolk and Virginia Beach. In C-ville, he's probably not going to be as well off, as there are fewer public resources and little-to-no homeless community. Richmond cracked down on sleeping in cars, so that could also be an ish. Unless Chris knows how to take care of himself in a more suburban/rural area... Well, heck, we all know he can barely take care of himself in the best of times. In the worst of times, hypothermia or illness will probably do him in. He seems too stupid to know how to stave either off, or when he's approaching the point where he needs to go to a hospital.
 
His corpse shall be on display at the National Museum as a well preserved caveman.
 
He'll probably be living full time as a woman or "tomgirl", and maybe come to terms with his attraction to men.
 
Diabetes will have taken at least one of his limbs, making masturbation harder but not yet impossible.
 
Homeless, dead, incarcerated, taken in by a friend/relative (assuming Barb dies), or still living at home with his ailing mother, complaining.
 
A new chapter in Chris' life?

I've been following CWC for over 5 years now. In the past two years, I hadn't checked in as much. I finally registered here.

Why? I think that, for the first time in over 5 years, there might be a light at the end of the hand-made fuck-doll tunnel.

He lives in a trash-filled house, infested with bugs, and lives with his bully of a mother who forces him to to be unable to seek help.
Constantly covered in bug bites, Chris struggles with obvious gender identity and other psychological issues.

Some might argue that he is as capable as any other person of changing his circumstance. I disagree, viewing him as a retarded force of nature who doesn't understand basic adult responsibilities (learned helplessness). His latest attempt at selling his porn reflects his complete lack of understanding of "the real world".
Regardless, his situation now is far beyond almost any able-bodied and able-minded human would be able to handle.

Incredibly deep in credit card debt, the only family left in his life slowly fading to death, shunned and mocked by everyone he knows online and off (and the resulting massive anxiety/trust issues), and unable to regain any control of his situations, I think Chris is at the lowest he's ever been.

I feel like a new chapter in the saga is going to open. Or the whole thing is going to implode horribly and Chris will end up in jail/committed/homeless.
