Thread title.

The fact that he got commissioned for that one piece of album art means that someone found his art (honestly or ironically) 'impressive'. And it's a damn sight better than a lot of the crap on deviantart according to one of my friends.

I myself am leaning toward the drawing of Jason Kendrick Howell on the cwcki, if you ignore the sex slave, that is.

The medallions. Aside from actually being aesthetically pleasing, they've gotta represent the most effort Chris has put into anything since his time as a comic artist/writer (mostly writing lol).
 
Whew... favorite Chris art? That's a tough one. He's had so many, many images varying from complete and utter insanity to mindboggingly disturbing stuff.

I guess for now, I'd go with his magnum opus:

This image is simply amazing. The completely fucked anatomy on Chris, the incomprehensible dialogue and the what-the-fuckery of Wes-Li powerballing down on them... Even the background devoid of any major details, the composition.
I don't know, for some reason, this is the first image I think of when I think about 'Chris art'.
 
I think it is the one where he drew himself as a woman with the infinity loop in her head. Just because he put an effort into it.

But it is certainly not the funniest.
 
If we're talking about the least shitty piece of artwork Chris has done, then probably the album cover or the Sonichu medallions. But they're also some of his most boring pieces as there's not much of Chris's headfuckery in them. Bad art is just mediocre bad art, even if it's less bad than the other bad art. It's Chris' ideas and narrative that make it special. :heart-full:

I've always been fond of the CD cover he made when Megan finally cut him off:

I'm sure he copied this from some manga or anime but at least there's interesting stuff going on and the emotions look a tiny bit genuine. I also like how he made her hair lighter in the setting sun.

That image refers to a failing English grade he got in high school.
