I have thought of buying Christian gifts lots of times. He's really easy to shop for with all his limited interests. I have his address, and I "like" him in a strange sense so why not toss a crummy toy his way to brighten up his drab life? I think anonymous gifts from observers is not far fetched, and it shows Christian that not everyone is a piece of shit on this Earth. Some people actually do nice things and want nothing in return.

That would be pretty benevolent of ya, but all the same, keep in mind Chris won't look at it the same way and will probably consider it a trolling tactic, or otherwise be unamused by it and find some way to whine about it isn't what he wants (shit, if someone sent me a copy of Half-Life 2, fanart, or the like I'd be ecstatic). It always vexes me how this boy who lives off of his tugboat can be more of a debutante than those entitled fuckwits they had "My Sweet 16th Birthday" or whatever the hell the new TV hell is (I stopped watching TV a few years ago, so I'm kinda out of the loop).

But still, it's your money.

I already know which of these theories is correct, I'm just saying that the "troll bought it for him" theory is really retarded and hard to defend. (At least as far as the arguments people have presented thus far)

Fair enough, if you know that he is buying them for himself, then I stand corrected. Maybe I am just more amused by the Back to the Future reference than most people here. That is why I was in favour of the "retarded" troll theory for that one. I could just picture a Christorian coming across Lego Back to the Future stuff, being reminded of Chris because it was Lego, and then being amused at the parallels between Chris and the movie and buying it for him.

Do you happen to know if the Sonic DVD was a Chris purchase as well? Is the whole buying thins for Chris just something that doesn't happen?

It wouldnt surprise me if chris got on a BthF kick cause of Family guy. Remember Seth is a huge fan of the movie

We don't have any evidence to suggest that Chris bought that. It seems like he might've actually found that in his yard.

Like, people do invest money into trolling plans sometimes. I'm just saying that trolls are a lot less likely than Chris to think to buy him skylanders crap. The sonic DVD, on the other hand, is a very reasonable item for a troll to buy Chris.

It was also clearly in a bad shape, so unless he dragged it out of the hoard it'd be a pretty elaborate little lie.

Well according to the recent facebook leak he's been into that specific pumpking skylander for a while now

This was AFTER someone mailed him a legit 8GB USB drive he 'wanted', and after he found the DVD on his yard. I could see how those two events could combine in his head. It does support Marvin's claim that he bought this thing himself and is trying to pass it off as a gift.
