To be fair if he wasn't so arrogant and close minded a lot of the shit that has happened to him would never have happened, including his discovery and Ed article blowing up.

i agree with you much, and that is why he is so amusing. at a point, though, arrogance becomes uninteresting; and the intervals at which he speeds in either the direction of redemption or the direction of a fall, he becomes only more uninteresting. the thing that keeps my interest with him is the events of the world around him and how they affect him, such as his father's death, his expulsion from the game place, his quest in love binding with failure and the destruction of his home.
 
Really, just the fact that he thinks he has anything to offer a woman in a relationship. An incontinent, hygiene averse, Autistic tranny man-baby who refuses to work and values Legos more than food. He seriously thinks that not just a woman, but a HOT, SUCCESSFUL, WHITE OR MAYBE ASIAN (no blacks) woman is just going to SNAP HIM UP. HE STILL. THINKS. THIS.

Chris's lack of foresight is one of the reason his line of thought seems bizarre. The dirty, crapped brief thing was to disprove the rumor that he wore panties but he failed to consider what would happen after the statement. People doubt themselves constantly. They second-guess their plans and make room for possible obstacles they believe are possible. Chris doesn't do that shit. He just.. does things. He rarely ever did second-takes on his videos. He often kept going when he made mistakes while drawing his comic. It's one of the most interesting aspects of Chris because he really doesn't see the point of rehearsing or planning too much. The only reason he had a bullet point list in many of his videos was so he wouldn't forget what he was talking about.

So now we have another big contributor to his wacked out thought process; his lack of memory. I think he blanks out when he's casually thinking and then he tries to get back on the same track of thought but misses a few steps. It'd be as if you were trying to paint a mountain and halfway through you totally forgot what you were painting. Now you're looking at the canvas and you're thinking "Well, I guess it kind of looks like a pear. I'll just keep painting a pear". So you finish and it doesn't look like fucking either of them. You're Chris though. Fuck it. Time to scan it and upload it to the internet because you're amazing. Your mom said so.

It's not what he can do to benefit himself, but what others can do to benefit him. Remember, Chris's the guy who will take the path of least resistance, even if it doesn't benefit him

I wonder if early in his life, Chris was always receiving blame and criticism perhaps unjustly (from the abusive babysitter or less equipped teachers or a younger and more fiery Borb and Bob). So as a defense mechanism he always defended his actions no matter how absurd. Whereas a lot of mentally abused and victimized people utilize this, the wiser ones eventually drop it once they realize its no way to function in society or have meaningful friendships/relationships. However, Chris's intelligence coupled with his autism never relinquished this early psychological defense, and therefore twists everything "I am always right, here's why".

I am absolutely not googling it, but at a conference on rural health, one speaker claimed that 10-25% of men living outside urban areas will experiment at least once with zoophilia :(

and Spring Breakers:
I've just finished watching "Spring Breakers", rented it for free from RedBox with Monopoly McD win. Eat Healthy with Premium McWraps, Apple Slices and Tea.

Story wise, it was fair. I definitely found the symbolism with the input of MLP:FIM within the movie. Minus a "Rarity" or "Fluttershy", the four women played similarly towards the roles in the rest. I definitely see myself in the Faith character, as she was more of the outsider, introverted person. I believe in God and Jesus too, but God must hate me to put me in the lifestyle I am forced to be cooped up and bored with. Leaving my friends behind after High School really sent me downhill, and then again after being forced away from the PLace. And I have few friends for real to and who would hang out with me. Damn Male Population, Damn Ill-Social People who overlook and ignore me in person around here, and Damn Ms. Schroeder and Mr. Snyder for further destroying me emotionally over the past greater than half-decade.

To be fair I see that he thought of MLP because it's on in the background of a couple scenes, but the way he forces parallels of it and of his own life is ridiculous. Bonus points for the McDonalds product placement and misuse of the word "input" as something closer to "usage".

I saw on the Netflix page that he rented Carlos Reygadas's Battle in Heaven (probably for the titties). I'd give anything to hear what he thought of that.

Jackie should have made him watch A Serbian Film. "Mmm, yeah. I definitely saw myself in Milos, as I too have been forced to do sexual things against my will by those Damn Dirty Trolls."
