I'm not so sure about that. I don't think he understands that the 5th amendment is seriously the right to remain silent. He has probably tried to prove his innocence to the cops, and argued with his public defender because he thinks that he is innocent, when he should be refusing all questions without a lawyer. If Chris is lucky, he'll just give them a bunch of unintelligible garbage about the merge and Sonichu that will be useless in proving he raped Barb. But he already sent Null a letter saying he is innocent and admitting to stealing the money from Barb. "I was going to pay it back" is not a defense. No, untill a police report detailing how his interrogation and questioning went i don't believe chris cooperated with he cops. His petty hatred and disregard for them is too strong to do anything with them beyond insult them and flip them off and tell them how much he hates them all because they were doing their jobs bringing the big out of control retard into custody.
After the Game Place incident, Barb hired a really expensive lawyer because she thought he could get them a not guilty verdict on all counts. Instead he had them plead down to traffic violations and misdemeanors to keep Chris out of jail. Having to pay Rob Bell started the financhu crisis. They could've had a public defender do the same thing for free; though Barb was legitimately scared that Chris would get a felony conviction and lose the tugboat. Chris and Barb both exercise their constitutional rights to be dumbasses.
