Being serious for a moment, I think the Idea Guys did way more damage to Chris psychologicaly/mentally than we realized.

Yeah, he never had a full deck from the get go, but the dimensional merge and goddess shit really popped off and you can see a noticeable mental health decline.

They probably don’t have a “Church”, per se, but they probably DO have a group from nearby churches who do “prisoner outreach”. They basically go in there each Sunday and hold services for any prisoners who want to attend it. Might just be a few of them coming to the door of the pod and talking to the prisoners, or in Chris’ case, going to the door of his solitary cell and talking with him for a few minutes. They also distribute bibles, which is how I’m guessing Chris got the one he’s been reading.

Honestly he's probably in seg because he wouldn't survive in gen pop and in seg you typically only get access to religious texts for reading in county jails. My guess, he's sitting alone and just autistically trying to read the slog of a book that the bible is and just schizophrenically latching on to bits and bobs that he thinks apply to him.

St. Thomas Prison Ministries​

St. Thomas actively participates in the Christian formation and spiritual direction of the men and women incarcerated in the Central Virginia Regional Jail. We do this in two different ways.

St. Thomas has two alternating ministry teams headed by Dr. Steve Cushman and Mr. John Amos. On the First Sunday of every month, the designated team along with a dedicated cadre, prayerfully lead Sunday worship and Bible study among the inmates of the jail. Using the Sunday lectionary readings, they seek to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to those most in need of God's healing power and grace. The Prison Ministry teams proclaim the Word and help the inmates explore the interpretation and understanding of the these sacred writings. Using the St. Thomas Sunday Lectionary Inserts, the teams are also able to leave behind the written word not only for further study and reflection, but also for those not able to attend the scheduled worship and study sessions in person,

Often our Jail Ministry leaders say, "We often feel like we gain more insight into Christ from the inmates than we offer them, ..... perhaps because they see Christ from an entirely different perspective."
