Considering Chris's involvement in the church/Christianity in her past, her bent toward making connections that aren't there, her messiah complex, and the last words she said to the camera as she was arrested make me think that Chris isn't trying to cop crazy, but is actually convinced that what she said in Null's letter is true. She believes she is Jesus reincarnated.
I read the Cwcki for a few years before I watched the documentary and later joined here at the Farms, and from everything I've read it seems consistent with the way her mind works. She believed in alternate realms/OC's being alive far before it was an idea introduced to her - and I'm wondering if it began as a coping mechanism for the revolving door of fake girlfriends she accepted as valid over and over again - and has been revving up her idea that she is a God/Goddess, is the pivot point of all realities and the singular door for all things alive and real, so it's really not very far to extend her fanfiction to include herself in the history of our world as our very own God (at least, the most white-America version of God that she is probably most familiar with anyhow).
It's just another coping mechanism that feeds her egocentrism. She never developed a "theory of mind", and in her case, it has served to be the catalyst for every troll to take advantage of her every time, because the only folks she seems to trust implicitly are the ones who cater to her ideas, her passions, her philosophies only. She'll never grow, never change in any meaningful way, because the way things are to her are the way things are.
