But isnt he an alchoholic now? He'd probably start smoking if a cute girl told him to.

Though I think that his best trait is that pretty much everything that is wrong with him is his fault, so I dont feel that bad about people trolling him.

He's been known to take a drink, but he's no alcoholic.

His opinions on Alcohol, drugs and nicotine (tobaky)

They may be rather naive, but hay... I'll let him have this one.

it's funny because those three things could be considered social activities which he closed himself off from.

Chris is an ambitious artist, and this is something I unironically admire about him.

Chris is obviously not a talented artist, he can barely draw recognizable figures, but this doesn't stop him from including anything in him comic. He'll use perspective poorly, he'll draw abstract concepts, he'll include complex action sequences... Chris's art always reaches far beyond where his talent will take him. Granted this reaching causes it to trip over itself and fall flat on it's face, but the point isn't that he succeeds, the point is he tries. He doesn't let his lack of artistic ability put any kind of limits on his art.

That's not something I can do; I often change what I intend to draw if I feel like my original idea is beyond my skill. I don't think Chris has ever done that.

I gotta agree with this. If only Chris had diligence and a commitment to improving himself that matched his ambition, he might actually have produced some decent art one day.

Yes. If he kept practicing his drawing skills (which might start with learning how to hold a pen properly), was open to criticism and maybe took an art class or two, he might turn into a second Bleedman.

 To some extent yeah.

But a severe alcoholic or drug addict will die a much more sad, lonely, and miserable person the our pal Chris will.

If he ever loses the tugboat, I just hope he doesn't end up knifing somebody for their wallet just to get his next vidya fix.

He managed to keep his series going for 10 books? A lot of ambitious comic artists don't last that long. Hell I've tried a comic but stress sighed and gave up after like four pages. It's annoying as fuck.
