And I wish people would stop with the "Chris' elementary school wanted him institutionalized" crap. They wanted the Chandlers to put Chris in a school that was properly equipped to handle kids with severe behavioral and developmental problems. The Chandlers, being old and not understanding that we don't toss the mentally/developmentally handicapped in a dungeon and forget about them anymore, thought the school wanted Chris put in an asylum and wouldn't listen to them when they tried to explain that wasn't the case.

No, the Chandlers were selfish jerks who refused to admit that their spawn could be a mongoloid who needed special treatment because it would make little Christian's/Christine's parents look bad. Any problem that Chris landed in was the fault of someone else, be it a faget principal, fagets at the Game Place, faget trolls (I hate fagets too, but Bob and Barb went overboard with it), former friend who became queen of the trolls, autism/trans hating jerkops, or the sex hating dean of students. The only "special" treatment they sought for Chris was government money because they could take part of it for themselves and no one would be the wiser. The Chandlers are white trash losers who were stuck with each other because they were terrible people who only cared about themselves. Regardless of what people on here think, St. Bob was just as bad as demon Barb. He did nothing to help prepare Chris for any form of independent life.

I think the difference between their special treatment and everyone else's is that the Chandlers saw Chris getting special treatment because he was a savant as opposed to the low IQ person he actually is. They were aware Chris was retarded, but they seemed delusional about the type of retarded he is. They were just as delusional as Chris. I also think they believed Chris would be able to find a sweetheart to take care of them.
