I am definitely being won over by the AI theory. There are so many little inconsistencies in this finished page that can't be explained by mere incompetence --if you were that incapable of drawing a man smashing through a wall there are a million reference images out there you could use or just copy-- but the art being produced by something that creates by aggregating millions of similar images perfectly explains why it looks close to passable but still uncanny.

I do think Jersh might be onto something with the artist having a cache of re-usable assets too, but I think the truth is it's a combination of all three: AI generated art, misusing an asset cache and an artist who just isn't very good at drawing.

We'll know for certain once the full book drops. I'm more excited than ever.
The only question is, Is this hunk of shit the product of a retarded pedophile, or a retarded pedophile assisted by a computer. BTW Sven Stoffels new book is amazing and it only took a couple months for him to get the books out.

There is one other major question. When Vedo's shit book finally drops and is an absolute disaster, when we prove beyond any doubt that AI and pre-made assets were used, is his cope going to be:
  1. "I did all that on purpose to troll the haters."
  2. "I had no idea about any of this, it's the artist's fault."

He will absolutely throw the artist under the bus and then justify his next crowdfunding campaign with "now that we're an established intellectual property, we can court REAL artists to the project! But we need YOU to pay for it!"

Ultimately, the blame falls on CringleJingle for hiring the cheap lazy Mexican in the first place. CringleJingle probably paid him upfront and therefore left no incentive for the cheap lazy Mexican to finish the work in a timely manner.

It's funny how in several updates he's talked about how he's taking time to deliver something with great art only for it to be a bunch of shoddy AI slop in the end. "You can't rush quality!" Nope, but taking your time doesn't guarantee quality either!

I don't think anyone has done a deep dive into the artist yet? Here is his official website which is pretty barren. His only credits apart from "PERSONAL PROYECTS"(sic) and three book illustrations are:
  • Super Killer by Vito Gesualdi.
  • Fusion Man (Num. 03) by David Halphen.
  • El camino del héroe by Andres H. Ramos (Mr. X).
  • Gourmet by Jorge Manrique.
Fusion Man is a French LGBT super hero thing. He only drew the third issue and, believe it or not, is an improvement on their previous artist.

El camino del héroe is a vanity production by this 4 million subscriber spanish language comics youtuber
who also made music videos of the comic I guess
I can't find anything for Gourmet other than this picture from Keder's own DeviantArt page

Do we know how Vedo found this artist? Given his relatively small portfolio it seems unlikely he'd know of him previously, so did he have auditions or just randomly search Deviant Art for someone who looked like they'd work for scale?

He tweeted out asking for artists to send him examples of their work in 2022 and cheap lazy Mexican Keder LeBeau was one of the replies. Apologies for not having the tweet archived and Keder LeBeau has since privated a lot of his accounts.

What a lazy bum. He couldn't even do the leg work himself.

Praise for Fusion Man from the only English language review I could find:
it’s a comic that highlights superheroes belonging to the LGBTQI+ community. Because yes, almost all the characters belong to the community. Everyone is represented. Remember Black Panther, which offered the first representation of a black superhero? Fusion-Man does the same for the LGBTQI+ community. And it’s about time it happened. Where most of society feels represented among all the superheroes, well there’s always that small part that didn’t feel fully highlighted. With Fusion-Man, things are changing. And it doesn’t just stop with a gay character. Diversity is the key word in this comic. Through all these characters,
Fusion-Man gives visibility to as many people as possible, the comic shows that they exist. And that’s the importance of it. It acknowledges their existence.
tldr, it's like Black Panther, but very, very gay!

The French Health Department was so inspired by this they sponsored a short film against " lhomophobie et ses conséquences" based on it.
content warning: Hard F for French without subtitles.
Synopsis: Captain F-word is trying to get down with his Asian boyfriend when a literal F symbol in the sky alerts him to a youth in peril. Super villain Waco, a ginger Riddler, is trying to convince a young gay man to jump to his death, which is considered a bad thing in this fictional universe. Fusion Man defeats him by yelling(?) Waco of the roof and catches the young gay before he splatters like a cum filled watermelon on the asphalt. Fusion Man then tells him that the only man he should embrace is Jesus Christ. (I don't speak French but that is how I would end the story.)

Don't know if this has been pointed out yet. Came across someone on LiveJournal in 2011 using this character for their pfp while digging up dirt on a troon and it made me do a doubletake. How did they get an image of Superkiller over a decade ago? Apparently it's an established Marvel character call Speed/Thomas Shepherd. The resemblance between this and CringleJingle's character is uncanny.

Change the suit to yellow and it's literally just Superkiller.

So not only is Vito terrible at writing something original, he plagiarized from Marvel. You can shit talk Eric, but I am pretty sure all his characters are original.

Their complaints against Eric July come across as brainstorming for future projects. I assume if Superkiller is used in relation to any sort of charity, there will be fraud happening.

Well, his favourite superhero is Gambit who he draws pretty much the same way minus goggles.

He's done some ballwasher interviews, only a few interesting bits:
Since a very young age I drew comics and I could never get it out of my head. However, since then I had to start pursuing the degree I studied in design, moving away from my original goal and although I continued feeding my social networks with illustrations, I still remained very far from the original goal. A few years later I received my first proposal to draw a comic. Without giving it a second thought, I accepted it, the problem was that I still kept my job as a designer and I couldn’t dedicate the time it deserves. A month later I had to make the important decision to abandon my job as a designer and dedicate myself 100% to my initial goal: Drawing comics.
One of my biggest goals is to be able to work for a great company such as Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Image Comics or IDW. They were the ones who sparked this passion for drawing since they were present in my early life with their great characters such as the X-Men, Superman, Spawn, T.M.N.T, to name a few.
I’m a self-taught comic book artist, and I’ve been working professionally since 2013. I started by doing the character design for a play called irónico, and later for “Gourmet,” a post-apocalyptic story written by Jorge Manrique Nájera. In 2016 I designed the official illustration for the Hell and Heaven festival in Mexico and the characters and drawings for the comic “Goats and Goats”, written by Hugo Morales.

In 2017 I released my first sketchbook, “I’m a f#ck!ing drawing,” which was presented at Newbury Comics in Boston, MA. Later that year, I released my own comic “Crossroads” at La Mole Comic-Con. After its success, I published my second sketchbook, “I’m a f#ck!ing drawing II” at La Conque convention.

Currently(2020), I’m working on Andrés H. Ramos (MR. X from the top comics) story, “El Camino del Heroe”, one original project called “Evan”, and finally, my new sketchbook, “Reloaded” that will be released next year.
LA local, not sure if that was brought up before.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is a tricky question because I love many places in LA. I love going for a hike to Wisdom Tree, grabbing a drink in West Hollywood, or enjoying the breeze on the Santa Monica pier.

Oh that's just fucking priceless.
This fat fucking pedophilic bastard whines and cries and seethes about Eric July showing him up for the scammer he is and making him look bad, and all the time he's straight plagiarizing his own faggy shit from 4th tier Marvel characters and using shitty AI art so he has more time to look up child porn and stroke his shriveled cheesy dick.

What a fucking joke of a man.

Niggerblax and Max Karson have an argument about if finding a 16 year old attractive is okay. Vito defends Karson with the brilliant argument: "Your body is wired to find teenagers attractive". No Vito I think that's just you.
Yet he keeps pretending his only problematic moment was a single joke tweet.

Is this the tweet you're talking about?
Chris, people use 3D assets the exact same way.
