What Vito means: "We aren't friends, we're more than that!"
Chester molester & victim.
Fat Pedo.png
Such a stereotypical pedo.
Definition of.
(Safe for work, but spoilered for decency as done above. New gold standard regarding such trash, imo.)
Vaedo & Friends.jpg
Vaedo’s pretty much synonymous with Paedo, nowadays. It is known.

Sean looking really uncomfortable; I'm surprised he's still there.
Doesn't he get half the Patreon money or something? I'm sure he also has personal reasons because Dick helped him with his substance abuse issues in the past, but I could be misremembering lore.
They were filming a bit at Comic-Con.
Interacting with minors you don't know is funny and weird, you fucking Kiwi prudes.

He also shouldn't be allowed to run crowdfunding campaigns. Vito's 10 months late (so far) project is supposed to finally ship this month, and he hasn't given a single update at all in October. Not a single tweet about Superkiller. Oh wait, except these ones about him refusing refunds until called out:

According to his most recent update a month ago he wasn't even half-done with either b/w or color versions:

That's not even including the unfinished backer perks:

Also, what the heck is this? Famous Internet influencer Vito the Voiceover Guy is guaranteeing that we can all get rich by mining cryptocurrency with him by using this promo link that's archived by this screenshot and two archive links?

Extremely legitimate.

Might review this on stream
I think it would be funny to see you tear it apart. You were quite critical of ISOM and EJ on yesterday's stream, which is fine; I think most people here are quite supportive of him more because of an absolute distain for Dick Masterson and Vito, because unlike you they genuinely believe no one should buy art that they believe is bad and have been going out of their way to fuck with him and his business. If you do go on his podcast, he'll probably downplay it or say it's all fair game.
My impression from your interview yesterday is that you feel people in the alt-comic scene shouldn't just be rehashing the same tropes and styles from the top down and should be more ambitious. Vito's comic tries to be "subversive", but a) it's still super hero slop, b) the idea of "what if he's a superhero who kills other superheroes" has already been done and c) it's full of Reddit tier dialogue referencing shit like multiverses.

I'm definately not for fucking with people's businesses. I critique art on its merit. That's some of the segments we do on SvenStreams. I have nothing against EJ personally, and I wish him the best with his business. I think feedback and honest critique are fair game.
We will see where the conversation leads, again I don't know any of the details and I'd like to keep it that way. But in general yes I would like to think the indie scene should actually do new and exciting things, that would not be kosher under top down corporate control, almost by definition.

It’s the same old shit with a different title slapped on top. Vaedo is making his book from a self-aware perspective. He’s purposefully including multiple, overdone, tropes, but instead of using them to subvert anything (& become something new) he simply states, “I’m subverting all these superhero comic book tropes,” while not doing shit.

In fact, the not doing shit goes even further as Viddles is too busy with the constant clout farming to make any serious headway on his project. It really looks like he used his crowdfunding money for personal benefit rather than on the project. Even more so now that he’s doing some Bitcoin mining instead of working on the book, & more plushy dolls of his characters, & fuckin’ pogs, & another playlist, etc etc. Truth is, he can make all the useless shit in the world but it’ll never be enough to make up for the fact that he took his backers money to invest in a high yield savings account, (which by nature takes time to yield profit) rather than using the money to do what he promised.

It’s no wonder his backers keep pushing him about actually delivering on what they paid for. Gives a bad name to the crowdfunding process, too. He’s made it clear how easy it is for someone to run a false advertising campaign so I wouldn’t doubt that many of his backers will now think twice before supporting another creator after being so blatantly lied to. Even just being honest, saying he’d invest the money & spend the better part of the year trash talking other creators instead of working on his book, would have made better sense than lying & faggin’ it up like he has.
I critique art on its merit
It was cool to listen to your interview yesterday on MATI, I enjoyed the conversation about how so many people cut themselves short by not trying new or original things. It would be great to see more original thought or heartfelt ideas being put out there. A lot of people are afraid when it really comes down to it, so it’s especially awesome to hear others talking about that. That creates sparks in others, it inspires them to follow through with their ideas.

Critique on merit is important, it helps artists grow & is a huge compliment (in my book) to have received a critique. Putting opinions on someone or something aside & taking a real look at the work. I’ve seen quite a few people in this thread do just that for Vaedo, myself included. Don’t think he’s realized how valuable that can be. Constructive criticism is invaluable. Every year, it seems like more artists, writers, & other creators get super butthurt about such a valuable thing. It used to be well understood what a great tool concrit is. Now it’s par for the course to see creators refusing any critique from the start, which is so lame. Critique is king.
I think feedback and honest critique are fair game
Absolutely fair game, especially if a work has been put out in the world (professionally or otherwise, either way.) Those who try to shut it down or who insist on positive feedback only, do everyone a disservice. It can be hard (especially in the beginning) to separate your ego from the feedback but overall helps you become better. I could go on & on about this because I’m really passionate about concrit, but that’s the point. Turning your nose up at concrit is poseur bullshit. I say thank you to honest critique because someone took the time to notice the work. That in itself is a compliment.

I’d like to see what you have to say about Vaedo’s (still unfinished) comic book.

I would look at the old underground comix scene.

It appears that Vito and Dick are now claiming this is “made up” on twitter:

What could possibly be meant by this?
It is made up you moron, no 13 year olds went to a house party at Dick's.

By ignoring the context you've made yourselves look like absolute retards. Not even look like, i am legitimately believing that a lot of you are genuinely retarded

What is worse is you have now forced me to defend Dick on this so we don't all look retarded, especially when they could have been pressed on why they didn't think she was 13.

Next time, don't cum bucket loads without checking the context because the correct context had the potential to be funnier.

Edit: some angry spellings

Even if Elissa Clips did get that one detail wrong, the detail about where they invited the child, it's not what made the story disconcerting anyways. It's like correcting the record by going "THESE STUPID KIWI FARMER LIARS! WE DIDN'T ASK HER STORIES ABOUT WAR! WE ASKED HER STORIES ABOUT WEATHER PATTERNS! ACK ACK ACK!" They already verified the elements of the story which matter:

Vito was tasked with finding adult women to pick-up and bring to a social gathering with Juju the Cow and his crew, and the first "woman" he brings over is a child.

I don't care if it was in a box or with a fox; the part that's disgusting is the picking up the 13 year old girl in lieu of an adult woman. Where they went from there is immaterial.
