nah, this was the 19th. She died 10 days later.

I definitely think that her distended belly is related to what happened. The issue could've started out slowly and progressively gotten worse over a short time. I really don't think that suddenly, after laying around in the hospital, that it got that tangled and fucked. Her belly in that photo/video are beyond opioid constipation. She has a tolerance to opioids and even if she was eating the level of swollen in this is insane. I was a heroin addict for almost 10 years and I've literally never seen anything like that. Even when I was in rehab on high doses of tons of drugs, haven't shit for 5+ days, eating tons of crap rehab junk food, and literally had to scrape the shit out of my colon with my fingers, my stomach never looked like that.

It is possible for the intestines to die slowly from restricted blood flow. Sorry for the blogging but my aunt died of bowel death last year. She smoked her whole life and her aorta got so clogged that the bloodflow to her intestines were cut off for a long time. Suddenly she was so sick and ended up in the hospital and was put into hospice within a week. There was almost nothing left of her intestines so nothing could be done aside waiting for her to die. A few weeks before that she seemed totally fine, just tired which we assumed was her age. She was old as fuck too, 89. So it's kinda hard for me to believe that this suddenly happened in the past few days and now she's dead. I always believed she was messing with her tube in order to get what she wanted. When she had the GJ tube it wasn't good enough, so she messed with it slowly over time until she got what she wanted. So maybe something similar happened.

Imagine she has the GJ tube that's going in her stomach, and when she slightly turns it, she can feel it pretty well on the inside moving. She messes with it slightly every now and again until it's uncomfortable and goes to the ER hoping it's messed up enough to get what she wants. She tries the same stunt again with her J tube, since she was seeming too healthy, and can't feel what's happening as well. Not sure but I think that your small intestine really isn't anywhere near as sensitive as your stomach or colon, plus she was on opioids and MMJ. Obviously this is all speculative but I read and watch a lot about munchies, and I have seen them do much crazier things.

I only know a little bit about necrotizing enterocolitis as it appears in NICU babies but to my eye that belly looks similar to very early NEC. The initial discoloration and swelling can be very subtle and easily missed, and then boom, septic emergency. No idea if that is what it is like for an adult with this kind of gut problem, but I have to say the ruddy, distended abdomen looks familiar.

Because they are mentally ill and usually have personality disorders and/or depression munchies lay around all day complaining about all kinds of symptoms, their imagination works over time coming up with new complaints. Once a new Dx is making the rounds it magically has all the symptoms they've had for YEARS and finally have an DX for their debilitating condition.

In Jaquie's case I think there was an added element too, because she had been able to monetise her illness (or "illness") with YouTube, Patreon, merchandise etc there was an extra motivation to get more diagnoses, have more hospital stays, more treatments, more dramatic crises and so on, because it would increase views and provide her with something new and exciting to make videos about to get more clicks and ad revenue... sorry, I mean to "spread awareness".
For sure the attention (and later the drugs) was her major motivation but she's a slightly unusual one in that she had literally made being sick her career, so coming up with new complaints or symptoms or illnesses had an added benefit for her.

I see people bring up the psychological aspect to Munchausens, but it’s pointless. People afflicted with Munchausens are compulsive liars. They know what they’re claiming isn’t true, they know they’re doing everything to themselves, but they have to keep up the image. There are no effective therapies for it.

Which is what is frustrating, but also sad to me. Jaquie was very mentally ill, but it’s an illness that basically guarantees you will be a manipulative, abusive asshole.
