Lol, I actually thought this was a satire post making fun of the “muh condushion is real tho” posters on reddit...till I got half way through it. One thing you can always count on munchies to have is zero self-awareness and maximum self absorption. Her poor family
It always reads like a schoolyard "my dad can beat up your dad" shit slinging argument when munchies compete. It really, really feels like these people are just extreme cases of arrested development.

Does trying to convince cynics and people who don’t buy munchie bullshit that you’re totes sick feel better than posting among fellow munchies or something?
And this feels like when the two kids get pulled in from recess to explain to the teacher why they were arguing. Lots of "noooo, you don't understand!!!" and "well, what I mean by this is [total change of subject to new issue in a feeble attempt of distracting from the last issue]" and "gosh, you don't have to be so mean! I'm gonna tell my mom about this!" e: and the inevitable alliance between the two kids because it's easier to defend each other in the moment than have to defend yourself when the teacher tells your mother and you get asked about it at dinner.

Plenty of us here are chronically ill. That's what makes it so fun to mock people like you.

And this is the level of newfaggery I was warning everyone about. Oh boy.

Please, don’t entertain the munchies, laugh at them abe move on. No one cares about who’s chronically ill and who’s not.

IF you can rip apart WHY someone’s illness is bullshit, without making it personal, or as far away from personal experience as possible, please do.

Usually using science and facts is a good way to approach it

Anyone else think that Judd will be fondling Izzy's toobz within a year?
I mean judging by how jealous jaquie was in the Disney video when judd was talking about Izzy and giving her attention, and how much more judd got along with Izzy,
i’ll give it 6 months before she’s his replacement for jaquie

All these tards making accounts and posting same day about their illnesses and how THEY are different, or how often they shit, or trying to teach Kiwis to be kind reminds me of that picture of Jacquie sitting at her formal rehearsal dinner pushing Zofran into her port.-at the table. We TRUE and HONEST Kiwis are Judd’s dad giving the disgusted side-eye while worrying about the future of his son.

Totally clueless to how they come off and unwilling to learn the rules of socializing despite being pointed to the forum rules numerous time and given examples about how to share info without powerleveling. And the response? But teacher, other kids do it!”

This is why the munchie thread so often suck. These people just cannot help but to one-up each other or talk about stuff nobody cares about. It’s part of the factitious disorder, I think. Life is not worth living if people don’t know you are sick.

Fuck man, let’s just enjoy a good death.

It's truly sad. I wonder if any of them read over the last few pages of the thread talking about illness fakers and all that jazz. Someone with the vaguest shred of self awareness would see that and think 'Hmm, people here probably don't want to hear about my chronic-illness-spoonie-woes that are oh so legit compared to this dead FAKER's"

But nope. Muchie brain goes- but I'm /different/- I'm really really really really sick so my sperging will win over these cynics and earn /all/ the pity and feels ratings. It's really quite impressive how thick their blinders must be.

I had been a fan of Jaquie since I had found her youtube channel on accident a long while ago. However, I had lost interest sometime last year and was sad that she had passed. Although, as one who also suffers from a lot of medical conditions I feel it's very sad that everyone is putting her down for what she might have gone through whether she really was suffering from these illnesses or not. We don't know how much was real whether it was a little bit or a lot or all of it no one will truly know unless someone who personally knows her decides to bring everything to light in the future, but I highly doubt it.

Yes, it is true there are people out there who thrive on attention and they believe the only way they can get it is through creating fake medical issues to fool friends, family, and even doctors, which is sad because as someone who is actually sick a lot I can't even fathom anyone who would want to fake illnesses and get unnecessary procedures, constantly be pumped with pills, having to stay on constant schedules, not being able to do things you want to do, etc. I personally sometimes have to fight my family on going to the doctor or emergency, because no matter how sick I become, I know when I can deal with it on my own and when I can't, because I don't want to take up an appointment or bed that could be used by someone else who is in a more dire condition, or be pumped with pills, I hate pills and always having to be on a damn schedule all the time, never being free to do what I want, what and when I want to eat, etc, not being able to be independent or have a job, it's terrible, especially when all I have ever wanted since I was a small child was to be normal like everyone else. Many who are in the same boat as me would agree. Most of us don't give a shit about being in the limelight or putting ourselves out there, most of us just want to feel normal once in a while, but that does not mean there are those who feel driven to share their stories to inspire others and help feel others not feel so alone.

However, no one but Jaquie truly knows the full truth whether it was all true or not and everyone can only theorize and don't see a point in bashing a dead woman who most likely severely suffered before she died. So whether or not she faked anything for attention, she stood for was severely important. Bringing awareness to those who are chronically ill. Bringing hope to those are always constantly ill or even being inspiring to many. She even would bring awareness to many different illnesses people didn't know about (that are real) to light.

However, after reading this thread there is always the possibility. Anyone ever see that movie and interviews about Gypsy Rose? Her mother thrived on attention and the only way she could get this attention and get free things would be to convince her daughter that she was sick from when she was a young child (fooling many doctors and even Gypsy's own father), and add things to her list of illnesses every year, but Gypsy was never sick and only fully realized this when she got older that none of her conditions were real, subjecting her to opioids, other unneeded medications, unneeded procedures and surgeries, being forced to live in a wheelchair when she could actually walk, etc. It's horrible. Or the story about the woman who bought herself a wheelchair so that she could live her fantasy as a disabled person, even trying to make doctors amputate her legs to make her fantasy real. It's sad when people have these mental issues toward medicine and health.

These kinds of situations where people crave attention this way give a bad name for those who really are chronically sick from one or multiple conditions. For ones who are always in pain or unwell or have to go to the doctor/emergency/hospitals all the time. Don't bash unless you know the full truth. This makes those who are ill all the time or have multiple medical conditions look bad or look like they're faking. No one should be going "oh this person faked it or that person faked it, so everyone is faking it for attention and being chronically ill isn't real".

Just be kind and have some empathy, and don't let this thread make you put down every person who might be chronically ill. I can understand being suspicious or doubtful, but have some humanity and empathy and kindness to everyone including those who claim to be chronically ill just as Jaquie had. If she was truly chronically ill with everything or even some of the things she claimed to have, at least she is no longer suffering. If she did make it all up for attention then she had a mental issue and is now no longer burdened by her mental issue or having to keep face and is at peace.

In my personal opinion, even as a chronically ill person, the chronically ill commuminity has two sides to it. I believe that there are some real people who do youtube to raise awareness for chronic illness because not everyone understands and it can help people understand what they go through and maybe even help doctors diagnose other people who suffer with similar symptoms and could not be diagnosed before. Some people just happen to be more public than others or have that drive to put their message out there, just like normal people who are always putting themselves out there because it's just who they are. However, I also believe that there is the other side where people decide to jump the bandwagon because these people get a lot of views, attention, love, etc., that they wouldn't get anywhere else. I believe everyone should give everyone in these kinds of situations the benefit of the doubt before they can find real proof that it's fake or not.

I just wanted to post this not on behalf of Jaquie or her family, but on behalf for those like me who actually are chronically ill and bring awareness that not everyone is a faker and to not judge until you know the whole truth.

Be kind to everyone, you never know what someone may be truly going through, physically, mentally, emotionally, etc. Treat others like you would want to be treated if you were in a similar situation.

Spread love, kindness, and understanding ~♥

We get it, you're not a munchie, you're better than those others, your soooooper-speshul illnesses are totes real, blah, blah, blah. Nobody cares.

Learn the room before you try to play it, toots. ♥

The biggest thing I'll miss about Jaq's videos is the famous "sick face". She was the only Munchie that could go from a near-death induced sick face to a jolly fist-pumping, thumbs-up sooper chronic illness warrior in the span of 10 minute unedited video.

My personal favorite is the random heavy panting while she's talking to indicate how much she's suffering.

Plenty of us here are chronically ill. That's what makes it so fun to mock people like you.

Let me fix this post for you and hopefully other newfags can take note.

It's fun to make fun of the munchies because they try to make being chronically ill super special when the truth is that almost everyone and their mom has some sort of chronic illness these days. Munchies are such basic bitches.

this is like an internet-presence autopsy, please continue it. it's needed I think. the trajectory of her "illness" should be dissected somewhere, somehow.

Going back a few days on this one, but I've continued to trudge through her vlogs. I actually lol'd during one of the more recent videos I watched because she had a whole 5 minutes dedicated to how it sucks Judd's not around and it sucks that he's working nights and she misses him so much and it sucks that she's been having all these complications cause he's not around but thank god her mom is here to help her now.

I've also had my first taste of Judd getting annoyed with Jaquie on camera. As they're pulling into their favorite crab shack, Jaq starts to explain how climbing the ramp into the place is so difficult. Judd somewhat sternly cuts her off saying "...its like climbing Mt. Everest for Jaquie" before she could explain the same goddamn thing she explained in a video a few months ago. Not much, but it was a start.

I ave a chronic illness which will shorten my life. I loathe Munchies though. Why? Because they give the rest of us a shitty image. Worse, there is nothing wrong with them. Jacquie died because she wanted desperately to be ill and made herself sick.

My levels of empathy are virtually zero, away and do one.

Okay.,
You can say these things without starting your sentence with “I have chronic illness which will shorten my life”

That just comes across as instantly attention seeking, especially to a group of strangers that you don’t know.

You could have left it at “I loathe munchies etc etc” without including the autistic attention seekerish power level.

Jaquie was sick, very sick. Mentally. She DID have something wrong with her, just not what she wanted it to be.

I think it also simply comes down to the fact that munchies are compelled to bring up their illnesses whenever possible, so it's practically a Herculean task for them to read a thread about people with chronic illnesses and not make it about themselves.
