I don't think Jaq was on metoclopramide. I don't think it is such a popular choice bc it is associated with causing tardive dyskinesia. A lot of GI docs in the US instruct their pt's to order domperidone from Canada. It's first line tx everywhere else in the world.

She was on metroclopramide for a short while and claimed she was allergic. They also tried eryththromycin and something else, maybe domperidone, and she claimed she was allergic. She was also allergic to or intolerant of compazine and phenergan when her insurance tried to cut off her zofran vials.

She wanted a tube and IV zofran. Nothing else was going to work for her.

so why did Jaq's face get all mooney ? and why did she get pudgy ? I don't get why she would agree to take steroids ? it detracted from her appearance. personally I think she was purging through her G tube bc she wanted to be thin. as soon as that was pulled she paced on the pounds. but I am open to other opinions.

Short answer: she transitioned from a pure munchie to a junkie. She went on medical marijuana with extremely high concentrations of THC which coincided with her stopping tube feeds, no longer talking about vomiting every day, getting the munchies all the time, and thus gaining weight. She also stopped leaving her bed/wheelchair and became totally sedentary. She was probably purging through the tube, too, I'm sure, but if we consider that her vomiting spells were ever real and were caused by anxiety, then being high on opiates, weed, and benadryl all day every day is going to put the kibosh on them. Until she went through withdrawals.

Her face wasn't pred moon-y, it was just fat over her unfortunate bone structure.

so she was censoring all her comments on YouTube ? cause she must have got a bunch saying "you got fat." I am surprised it did not bother her enough to do something about it. I mean she had the determination to starve herself enough to be ketotic and hypoglycemic when she wanted her tube. I am sorry to say this but she looked fat and she was choosing thumbnails that made her look fat.

I believe all her comments required approval first. Rude comments just wouldn't have made it through the gate. She shut down her IG, I expect because it was too much work policing the comments.
so she must have gotten a fair few comments saying "you got fat." I am surprised that did not have an impact on her. I guess the weed made her not care ? I feel like she would have started some kind of campaign to get the G tube reinstalled so she could vent i.e. purge through it.

Her former friend Julian claimed she never bothered with the gossip or negativity surrounding her. She just ignored it like it never happened. Didn't read the gossip boards, didn't read the negative comments, didn't deal with anyone who didn't 100% believe and coddle her. She would apparently get the jist of what people were saying about her through Jan or someone else who was bothered and then find ways to excuse it.

Julian was also extremely over the top (and continues to be) so maybe not the most reliable source.

A few threads back someone mentioned that Jaq purported to have gotten a SD from a scam organization. If anyone is interested .....I don't know the name of the org but the lady who run's it goes by the screen name NSSPL "not so sane poodle lady." She goes to Disney with 3 standard poodles in toe and claims they are all her service dogs or its for training purposes. Not sure what illnesses she claims to have. For some damn reason I can't find any trace of her online at the moment.

Her company is Trained & Maintained Service Dogs
website down but here's the facebook

Which has some more lovely pics of Jaq and Judd

She claims epilepsy and migraines.
She sued the park for "harassing" her and her poodle pack.

Will keep digging.

Edit: Linkedin where she specifically notes her dogs are trained for you to bring them to Disney

NSSPL is a very controversial figure in the SD community and so was Jaqi and their paths crossed. It was taboo to question Jaq's illnesses for the most part. but people questioned her training techniques and said Harlow looked fucked up and poorly bred.

If you want to go down the rabbit hole join SD groups on FB. I am sure you will dig up a lot. I learned a lot on those groups. There was one girl who claimed her mom had munchausen by proxy and she was the victim. apparently if it is in your chart that you were the victim of someone with munchausen by proxy its sadly a very bad black mark on you and you are always labeled a malinger or suspected to be a munchie.

Its a very confusing community though,

Wow. Jaq's bone structure in her face really did change. The more prominent chin and stronger jaw is associated with higher sex drive and higher levels of testosterone.

Okay... am I the only one who gets really pissed when I don’t poop for the day?? Like I get MAD to the point I’m eating handfuls of dates and shit to make my ass run like a waterfall after a torrential downpour. How the HELL did Jaquie manage to have that much bloat and just ignore it??? I get she was doped up, BUT STILL.

Chantel? Is that you?

Some of you new fags seriously need to lurk moar.

Kiwis don’t want to hear about your pooping, your diseases, and we have a forum to discuss communities you don’t like. This is the thread to discuss Jacquie. We have a general munchie thread where you can discuss the condition and somebody can star a Jan thread if they must.

Not to be mean or anything, but every time we get refugees from elsewhere they don’t learn the Kiwi way. So please read the rules and you lurk and I’ll STFU.

Oh and welcome. :)

thing is though Jaq claimed the dog never properly alerted to her seizures. Jaq had a presumptive dx of epilepsy and had psychogenic seizures so how the fuck could the dog alert. I think NSSPL is possibly a reputable trainer. I think Jaq actually did a pretty good job of maligning her perhaps unfairly.
weird why are all the top pics on the FB Jaq - how does that work ?

Most trainers and handlers think seizure alerts are a myth anyway. If they exist it's because the dog is picking up on preictal behavioral cues, not because they can sense some change in body chemistry, so the fact that Jaq's were psychogenic doesn't really matter. She would have had to work with this dog for a longer time to get it to learn her cues if it was even able to. Her claimed beef with NSSPL and this dog was that it was getting reactive and aggressive and a private trainer couldn't get the behavior to stop.

Most legit "seizure alert" dogs are actually seizure response dogs trained to alert other people to the fact that the handler is having a seizure, and reputable trainers/programs are adamant they can't train dogs to predict seizures (or alert to most things for that matter.) If NSSPL was legit she would also let people know her dogs were not psychic.

weird how NSSPL has Jaq prominently featured on her page when I know NSSPL considered Jaq a munchie and hated her. She made those changes post Jaq's death. And related to NSSPL's dx she apparently takes 0.5mg of ativan and that controls her seizures. pretty sure that's not how epilepsy works.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw5NvEQlZ48/ but you hated her ????

I had been a fan of Jaquie since I had found her youtube channel on accident a long while ago. However, I had lost interest sometime last year and was sad that she had passed. Although, as one who also suffers from a lot of medical conditions I feel it's very sad that everyone is putting her down for what she might have gone through whether she really was suffering from these illnesses or not. We don't know how much was real whether it was a little bit or a lot or all of it no one will truly know unless someone who personally knows her decides to bring everything to light in the future, but I highly doubt it.

Yes, it is true there are people out there who thrive on attention and they believe the only way they can get it is through creating fake medical issues to fool friends, family, and even doctors, which is sad because as someone who is actually sick a lot I can't even fathom anyone who would want to fake illnesses and get unnecessary procedures, constantly be pumped with pills, having to stay on constant schedules, not being able to do things you want to do, etc. I personally sometimes have to fight my family on going to the doctor or emergency, because no matter how sick I become, I know when I can deal with it on my own and when I can't, because I don't want to take up an appointment or bed that could be used by someone else who is in a more dire condition, or be pumped with pills, I hate pills and always having to be on a damn schedule all the time, never being free to do what I want, what and when I want to eat, etc, not being able to be independent or have a job, it's terrible, especially when all I have ever wanted since I was a small child was to be normal like everyone else. Many who are in the same boat as me would agree. Most of us don't give a shit about being in the limelight or putting ourselves out there, most of us just want to feel normal once in a while, but that does not mean there are those who feel driven to share their stories to inspire others and help feel others not feel so alone.

However, no one but Jaquie truly knows the full truth whether it was all true or not and everyone can only theorize and don't see a point in bashing a dead woman who most likely severely suffered before she died. So whether or not she faked anything for attention, she stood for was severely important. Bringing awareness to those who are chronically ill. Bringing hope to those are always constantly ill or even being inspiring to many. She even would bring awareness to many different illnesses people didn't know about (that are real) to light.

However, after reading this thread there is always the possibility. Anyone ever see that movie and interviews about Gypsy Rose? Her mother thrived on attention and the only way she could get this attention and get free things would be to convince her daughter that she was sick from when she was a young child (fooling many doctors and even Gypsy's own father), and add things to her list of illnesses every year, but Gypsy was never sick and only fully realized this when she got older that none of her conditions were real, subjecting her to opioids, other unneeded medications, unneeded procedures and surgeries, being forced to live in a wheelchair when she could actually walk, etc. It's horrible. Or the story about the woman who bought herself a wheelchair so that she could live her fantasy as a disabled person, even trying to make doctors amputate her legs to make her fantasy real. It's sad when people have these mental issues toward medicine and health.

These kinds of situations where people crave attention this way give a bad name for those who really are chronically sick from one or multiple conditions. For ones who are always in pain or unwell or have to go to the doctor/emergency/hospitals all the time. Don't bash unless you know the full truth. This makes those who are ill all the time or have multiple medical conditions look bad or look like they're faking. No one should be going "oh this person faked it or that person faked it, so everyone is faking it for attention and being chronically ill isn't real".

Just be kind and have some empathy, and don't let this thread make you put down every person who might be chronically ill. I can understand being suspicious or doubtful, but have some humanity and empathy and kindness to everyone including those who claim to be chronically ill just as Jaquie had. If she was truly chronically ill with everything or even some of the things she claimed to have, at least she is no longer suffering. If she did make it all up for attention then she had a mental issue and is now no longer burdened by her mental issue or having to keep face and is at peace.

In my personal opinion, even as a chronically ill person, the chronically ill commuminity has two sides to it. I believe that there are some real people who do youtube to raise awareness for chronic illness because not everyone understands and it can help people understand what they go through and maybe even help doctors diagnose other people who suffer with similar symptoms and could not be diagnosed before. Some people just happen to be more public than others or have that drive to put their message out there, just like normal people who are always putting themselves out there because it's just who they are. However, I also believe that there is the other side where people decide to jump the bandwagon because these people get a lot of views, attention, love, etc., that they wouldn't get anywhere else. I believe everyone should give everyone in these kinds of situations the benefit of the doubt before they can find real proof that it's fake or not.

I just wanted to post this not on behalf of Jaquie or her family, but on behalf for those like me who actually are chronically ill and bring awareness that not everyone is a faker and to not judge until you know the whole truth.

Be kind to everyone, you never know what someone may be truly going through, physically, mentally, emotionally, etc. Treat others like you would want to be treated if you were in a similar situation.

Spread love, kindness, and understanding ~♥
