It is ABSOLUTELY hilarious. Look at the last posts about her from a few days ago. They did NOT give a shit and were so quick to pile on her and call her a junkie (which she totally was). The community is honestly just as exceptional as the people they claim to document. Their rule that limits which people can be discussed is dumb, the comments are full of powerleveling people with their own "chronic illness" trying to prove their issues are totally legitimate and real. They just banned one chick from being talked about because a recent post about athletes foot was used as a sign her "mental state" is on the downward.

Question for @Kate Farms Shill and others more familiar with Jaqui — whatever happened to her narcolepsy?? Seems to have magically vanished.

The self-flagellation and virtue signaling on r/illnessfakers and otherwise is totally unnecessary. Of course it's alright to be sad that a life was wasted, that a young woman died from the consequences of her mental illness. But thinking that we, or you personally, had anything to do with her death is self-centered and wrong. This is what happens to Munchies - it's the endpoint of what they do to themselves, and anyone beating themselves up over it really shouldn't be on these websites to begin with.

I reckon the reason the subreddit is so full of people trying to prove she wasn't faking after all is because a whole lot of people just had a mirror held up to them. Every third post over there is shut down for blogging. They all want to tell people how their very special illness is worse than any of the girls they profile.

there it is. Most of this is bluster because they all emulated her and now they see that this bullshit could kill them, too. Even some of the legitimately sick people were taking her shitty advice or using her tactics to “advocate” or justifying their own escalating opiate use by saying they weren’t addicts like her, they really needed all that morphine. Like all her alleged illnesses, there when it was convenient, gone when it wasn’t. She claimed it was helped by medication but never really truly gone. It came back up a few times when she needed an excuse for why she was watching Netflix on the couch while her family went out to dinner or something. It would have cycled back eventually. Someone would bring it up and suddenly there would have been a video called “SERVICE DOG SAVES REAL SLEEPING BEAUTY IN DISNEY WORLD! .”

worth noting, this last hospitalization started because she had a weeklong visit from someone who apparently actually really has a minor case of what Jaq claimed to be dying from and people compared them and asked about why Jaq had no health problems that whole week when her friend was visiting and could go traipse around the Disney parks in the Florida heat. the day after that girl left was when the “I really need my feeding tube! Look look look while I dump expired Kate Farms, the only formula my delicate system can handle, into my kid-sized feed bags!” video came up and a few more justifying her behavior and why she got to turn off her illnesses for a week. Then a few days later she was chasing the mito Dx and got a whole new IV medication and fluid protocol to follow, one that had her fucking with her port much much more often. Then she started inducing problems that allowed her to go on a hospital vacation where she did everything in her power to cause a serious problem like this to get pity for missing the milestone (and all the work) of moving into the new house.

She didn’t mean to kill her self I’m sure but she didn’t do anything to save herself either. Starting to think the drugs were secondary here. While she was clearly addicted to them, she had them at home and a doctor willing to up her prescriptions whenever she asked. What she wanted was attention and validation.

And on a personal note I lost my favorite cow last night thoughts n prayers please.

honestly surprised they haven’t pulled the plug on the whole sub by now to CYA. There’s so much backpedaling and acting like they really truly loved her and just wanted her to get better. Many of them emulated her (really how many people mentioned having the exact same insert munchie toy as her in the comments except they’re really super needed one and they know it because their doctor prescribed it as if Jaq’s doctor didn’t also prescribe hers) but a lot of them also were egging her on. They subscribed and liked the videos, they were her patrons, they were her as revenue, they pozloaded my negholep and sent her gifts in the mail. not all of them but we wouldn’t have even gotten the message from her husband posted there if more than one of the commenters wasn’t directly paying her for content.

She was like Grey’s Anatomy or House MD or any other Primetime medical drama except the users controlled the script. Mention she didn’t have a “mast cell” reaction from something and it would appear the next day. Face it, IF users who won’t admit they’re reading here. The strange thing is she died from being a munchie not because of any actual illness she claimed, so reddit prostrating themselves with grief is really weird.

She died because a feeding tube she didn’t need, or use, herniated and her small instestines went septic. (She also had multiple feeding tubes installed over the years) She had been told she needed to get rid of it since she wasn’t using it because shit like this happens. She just claimed she was still using it even though she was eating regular food and taking massive doses of opiates causing terrible constipation.
