Civ Div is a Youtuber who served in the United States Marine Corps After leaving the United States Armed Forces, he became a foreign fighter and volunteer in a number of conflicts. He has been apart of the Kurdish YPG (People's Defense Units) in Syria, the Yazidi Sinjar Resistance Units (YBS) in Iraq and the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces.

He can be somewhat controversial due to how he presents his videos and the inherent political nature of war but as a content creator he provides a first-hand account into the reality of modern warfare from a frontline combatant's perspective, especially for a English speaking audience, and he has a lot of GoPro combat footage to accompany this.
