I watched one or two of his videos sometime around 2023 I think, covering the Ukraine war of course, and the gut feeling it left me with wasn't good.
This is just unstructured rambling and I know little of the subject so take it as you will.
The videos I watched also seemed like low-key recruitment ads. Glorification of combat, the "high-speed low-drag" macho operator persona, all very tactic00l for the viewer's pleasure. Most other actually legitimate footage I've watched of the Russo-Ukranian conflict is nowhere nearly as glamurous, even in the "highlight reels" where you see GoPro POV guy pull off the impossible and infiltrate an enemy trench, or overrun infantry dug into a foxhole, or clear a building... you get the point. In those vids, even when you see war from the "winning side" it leaves a very bitter and sad impression that CivDiv videos lack.
I also got a distinct "NATO marvel superhero good guys, ruzzian orks bad" vibe from his content. As you say, it's inevitable to get at least somewhat political when covering war, but regardless, it doesn't tickle my fancy because a) juvenile simplification of war and politics that TPTB push on the goycattle and b) inasmuch as I "pick a side" (very little) on this confict, fuck "NATO" with a rusty pipe.
Lastly I couldn't really believe the guy's legit. Again I only watched a couple of videos, but if he's there since not long after the start of the conflict, and if he's in combat operations as often as he purports to be... the maths say he should be long dead. And also the "posting war gore on jewtube" of all places thing.
IDK, my bottom line is that he seemed like a glownigger psyop engineered to get dissatisfied and easily impressionable males to become volunteer cannon fooder for the $current_year_conflict.
