It should not just be free money. Bear in mind that this was within months of Danby ceasing being chairman of the Australian parliament's Joint Standing Committee on Migration.
News gets out in Australia that Danby wants to keep Israel pure by exporting fractious non-jews (and undesirable jews, i.e. Ethiopian jews) to Australia. There is significant outcry and suddenly it never happened/misunderstanding/misquoted in media.
So a jew in Australian parliament with significant influence on the immigration debate seeks to keep Israel pure by accepting people rejected by the jewish ethnostate.
I guess what this comes down to is that jews want Israel to be ethnically, socially, religiously, culturally and racially pure and homogenous. Anyone who resists, or who is undesirable, will be confined to ghettoes, exiled, sent to concentration camps, or flat-out murdered.
