Closing Logos Group / CLG Wiki - Spooky scary TV logos! (NIGHTMARE FACTOR)

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.

Apparently, D. L. Chandler is one of the people pushing the logo down the memory hole:

D. L. Chandler said:
It wasn't power abuse.
A user decided to go against my instructions and paid the price.

As for you, So Cool... I'll miss you.
Maybe a little cool-out time (perhaps, some chamomile tea) may help you.
I hope you will feel better and more calmed down within due time, especially after I
present all the proof to seal this investigation once and for all.

BOTTOM LINE:
NO misbehavior, spam, false logo claims or blatant disrespect will be tolerated here!
We have RULES and INSTRUCTIONS set in place -- ALL for the good of the
CLG Community -- and they must be adhered to. You're just going to have to get used to that!

Always Watching,
D.L. CHANDELL
The DLC Organization

This whole debacle is a hell of a ride. We've got a wiki where the existence of a logo is such a controversial topic that the moderators have to resort to unabashed censorship - almost to 1984 levels (what kind of person signs their posts with "Always Watching"?) It's like everything that makes the closing logo fanbase such a bizarre, ridiculous place blew up in a spectacularly hilarious display.

I don't get why this is so significant

...that doesn't even look genuine. Notice how the Coca-Cola byline doesn't move and jitter with the rest of the logo on that film print.

Are these people being trolled hardcore by a fake?

This is scary for Autism

Dude. One SECOND in and there's an MLP plush. That's a new record.

There's a lot of "reconstructions" of what it should be, and from what I know the only "genuine" ones come from very specific movies (i.e. a Mexican print of what I believe is an early 80's horror movie)

I thought the old Viacom logo was weird and sorta Orwellian but jesus fuck why does this need a whole wiki

How fucking boring does one's life have to be to latch onto this of all things
There seems to be plenty of bored people out there.
