Dr. Music supposedly fed it to them. Dr. Music's cats also got a great deal of human food.revengeofphil said:Now how in God's name do they get into that?Stratochu said:The good news is that they don't eat shit and menstrual blood and get sat on like DrMusic2's cats did (word of mouth from a chat I had with Andria Kilgore on ED)
What the hell goes through a person's mind when they decide to feed a cat their period?Stratochu said:Dr. Music supposedly fed it to them. Dogs love to eat shit. If they're not finding and eating old cat shit they're likely going after their own or eachothers.Stratochu said:The good news is that they don't eat shit
I have no idea. Her ED article, Lolcows General Lolympics thread mention and Lolcows General thread tell all that is available, unless you want to read all of the content tagged "Mariana Project" on the ED forum (roughly 1,000 pages)revengeofphil said:What the hell goes through a person's mind when they decide to feed a cat their period?
I shouldn't read these forums while eating.Stratochu said:The good news is that they don't eat shit and menstrual blood and get sat on like DrMusic2's cats did (word of mouth from a chat I had with Andria Kilgore on ED)
There probably isn't anything small enough for them to eat within reach.Varis said:I shouldn't read these forums while eating.Stratochu said:The good news is that they don't eat shit and menstrual blood and get sat on like DrMusic2's cats did (word of mouth from a chat I had with Andria Kilgore on ED)
Also, I'm surprised that Snoopy and Clover have gone this long without choking to death on something they found in the hoard. They were only three months old when the Chandlers got them, and generally puppies try to eat everything.
How long before they try to choke down syrup-coated lego men, or whatever else litters the floor of Chris's room?Marvin said:There probably isn't anything small enough for them to eat within reach.Varis said:Also, I'm surprised that Snoopy and Clover have gone this long without choking to death on something they found in the hoard. Oh true, I didn't think about Chris' room.Alec Benson Leary said:How long before they try to choke down syrup-coated lego men, or whatever else litters the floor of Chris's room?Marvin said:There probably isn't anything small enough for them to eat within reach.Varis said:Also, I'm surprised that Snoopy and Clover have gone this long without choking to death on something they found in the hoard. Eh, unfortunately, no, probably not. It'd be animal cruelty like raising your child on mcdonalds is child abuse. It's fucked up, but probably not illegal.ChristmasDuck said:Couldn't this technically be classed as animal cruelty?

Oh, interesting. Yeah, I mean, if they let the dogs use Patty's pen, maybe they could qualify for the "adequate space" requirement, but I'm pretty sure they're stuck inside.ChristmasDuck said:Marvin said:Eh, unfortunately, no, probably not. I found these among the general requirements of legally owning an animal in VA:
The owner(s) has/have to provide:
4. Adequate space in the primary enclosure for the particular type of animal depending upon its age, size, species, and weight;
5. Adequate exercise;
I gather they provide neither of these
I live near detroit where dog fighting is a real problem and some of the older residents keep theirdogs inside constantly so that they don't get stolen as "bait" that happened to my neighbors dad. The dogs that are forced to be inside though just get obese, the lack of sunlight gives them dental problems, lack of exercise will ruin their hips and heart plus the crappy food will increase their risk of fatty liver disease.Marvin said:Oh, interesting. Someone should give the humane society a ring. (or whoever's responsible for this in Virginia)
Yeah, outside would be a lot better for the dogs. They did have a pen for Patty, I think, but I don't know if that's still around. I doubt they have a regular vet.The Joker said:I live near detroit where dog fighting is a real problem and some of the older residents keep theirdogs inside constantly so that they don't get stolen as "bait" that happened to my neighbors dad. As bad as it sounds, if they speant most of their time outside it would help them since the chanderps have a huge lot (don't know if its fenced or not)
I was studying to be a vet tech so I know a lot about dometic dogs an cats. I only quit after I got to intern for a week at a clinic and saw a couple bring in their dog that had been hurt by some sick fucks. I was in the room and helped put it down then nearly had a breakdown of my own. It takes a lot of guts for a person to do that kind of work,![]()
Sadly though, if the dogs are in good health (by the vet that the Chandler use (if they even have one) standards) then there is nothing that can be done and those poor babies are stuck with what a bad diet,little decent training, and whatever neglect can do.
Plus, would chris even be a decent trainer/ master? The dogs are not pokemon.
I can just see Patty's pen, untouched for years, and suddenly Chris just putting the puppies in there without fixing it up.Marvin said:Yeah, outside would be a lot better for the dogs. They did have a pen for Patty, I think, but I don't know if that's still around. I doubt they have a regular vet.
