Has anyone seen the trailer for Cocaine Bear? Apparently it's inspired by this.



It looks pretty fucking hilarious. It's probably the first movie I've actually wanted to see in years.

I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade but... this movie is directed and produced by Elizabeth Banks who also directed and produced Charlie's Angels.

yeah, i can already tell the finale is going to be all the women in the movie uniting and using their periods to attract the cocaine bear into a death trap.

feminism has ruined society.
 
The real story is just sad. Poor bear eats a bunch of cocaine and then dies from a heart attack.

Not since Snakes on a Plane have I been completely sold on a movie just by the title.

If its dumb and stupid, I'll love it.

If its a well made survival thriller, I'll love it.

I can't envision them screwing this up. If Banks does fuck this up, then she should never direct ever again.

I didn't even know they remade Charlie's Angels again.

Agreed, this should be a slam dunk. All she has to do is make a silly fun movie and keep politics out of it.

The thing about about Snakes on a Plane is, it was directed by David R. Ellis, a schlock auteur.
Among other things, he directed 2 Final Destination movies.
This scene, in the script was just "there's a car crash, people die in X order" and that's it, he created this from scratch:
As cheesy as this scene is, it's beautifully arranged and choreographed.
Elizabeth Banks has nothing on this.
