On Twitter, there are now two accounts - one is backwards_internet (1 underscore) that seems to be the actual Cog; other account backwards__internet (with 2 underscore) is the parody (run by Jesse?). Correct me on this if I got it wrong.

From what I read, he never said he was going while the Ralph’s were there. They already had a honeymoon booked . He said they’d go sometime in February and do Rome better than pig and horse.

He did tell people it was to go stalk Ralph but he also claims it was an in-joke and anyone who donated knew what the real deal was. Don't know if that is true and I do not care anywhere near enough to go back through weeks of Cog to find out. People paid Cog to send him on a second honeymoon where the sole reward is to get some Bong's home movies (carefully edited so we don't see his Nora). Anyone who funded this is beyond hope (including Mr Vickers, ESPECIALLY Mr Vickers).

So it doesn't really matter if he misled his braindead audience in my opinion but it is really funny that he gets so indignant about ethics in trolling before "jokingly" raising funds to go beat a man in front of his horse and Guntling. They're all just reflections of Ralph; watch Cog get mad that people don't understand his "work" just after he gets mad at other people's jokes and you'll see a little Ethan inside him, fixin' to get out.

He's probably a bit boomertech and just logged in via the web UI. It looked like one of those ancients shitty web UIs so it's hard to blame him. Ideally you wanna just download it all via POP3

He can log into the email using an email client like Thunderbird and choose the POP3 option, then zip all the emails that have been downloaded.

That said, yeah, I do agree with @LanceHaver, it probably would have taken quite the time to set this all up. I would say enough time for Ethan Ralph to enable 2FA and change his shitty JCaesar1874BBC!? whatever password he used.
