I'd heard it has Jonny Quest meeting up with Space Ghost, the Herculoids, Birdman, all the old H-B action heroes.

Now, the question is, if they use Brak in this series will he be the competent Brak of the original show or the moronic Brak we all know and love?
Considering they're using the original version of Space Ghost, I'm only going to assume they'll be using the original portrayal of Brak.

Also, Wacky Races reboot makes me feel uncomfortable. And feels like they're trying to make it look edgy because edgy.

I'm fine with them using the original competent Brak but I'm also kind of conflicted, because that means they won't use the Brak who sang "I'm Drivin' Down the Highway 40 in My Big Ol' Pickup Truck"...

Though Brak was supposed to have become stupid as a result of something that happened in the original show. Maybe they could reference that...

And holy Christ, I looked it up... they really plumbed the archives! Frankenstein Jr., the Galaxy Trio, Mightor, the Impossibles (and I hope to God they're still a rock band)... all they got to do is add Shazzan, Thundarr the Barbarian and the Pirates of Dark Water and they'll be in business.

And how about some appearances from the Council of Doom? Not just Brak, Zorak and Moltar, but how about Black Widow, Lokar, Metallus, Tansut, even Creature King!

It would be funny if they threw in the Harlem Globetrotters given that they had their own show (Super Globetrotters) and appeared on Scooby-Doo a few times.

I just caught up on both Dresden Codak and Alex Ze Pirate
I feel dead inside but also somewhat enlightened

The grim and gritty Wacky Races comic would have made a great April Fools joke. Too bad they were being serious...

A new Thundarr the Barbarian comic would be pretty sick though. It's not Hanna-Barbera (it's Ruby-Spears) but I think they're both owned by Warner Brothers now, so....

I just finished reading the first issue of a comic called, Grizzly Shark, which is a homage to all those goofy, cheap monster movies the ScyFi Channel likes to make. It's about a killer shark that roams the woods, eating people in amusingly gory ways. (It's going to be a three-parter.)

So, I have the compilation of the limited series Legacies. It has a one-shot co-feature called Snapshots, and I'm gonna be focusing on one in particular tonight. Remembrance features all but one of the classic "fighting men" characters reuniting in a bar in 1976.

The real reason it's interesting is because it's a fitting send off to one character in particular, and one artist in particular- Joe Kubert.

According to this one-shot, Sgt. Rock died during the last days of the war, attempting and succeeding in a mad dash to save a German (?) child from the crossfire. The bullet that kills him is the last fired in the war.

His illegitimate son with Mademoiselle Maire is also introduced during the 1976 portion of the one-shot.

DC rebrith looks alright but to be honest I'm going to drop a lot of DC books.

Mostly because I don't like the big reveal.
