I disagree. He's the one who unironically refered to Asscrackers as "the third best selling graphic novel" so he does care about virtual pee-pee sizes. Not to mention that he did agreed to livestream in the first place.
It's only 4k ahead. After your promotional camping TexesAutism "THE Zack" The guy with the best PR among all of you, the pioneer ginipig of the entire movement is only 4k ahead and lousing in backers (the actual virtual pee-pee that matters). And don't even try to pretend how you don't care. You're the one who joined an obscure collecting forum once they've talked about your commissions. You've joined KF only when it started to criticize you to infinitely damage control, Everyone knows that you care about as much as high-school diva.
You can totally say that. But then what about Liam and another 1000 western creators who try ape anime too and fail? Say what you want about how cringe the Bunny boy is, but he's successfully selling his western anime ripoff in a sea of other western anime ripoffs and manages to build a fanbase.

"Interests have waned" really? Zack's out of touch. His reviews have gotten stale, with hits here and there. He should do more of his reviews, like the one he did with Watchmen. Those were actually good. Or when he poked fun at @FROG 's buddy Geoff Johns for his inability to comprehend Alan Moore as a person on Doomsday Clock.
More like Zack fails consistently to be in touch with his audience outside of giving a heart on comments.

I'll be honest, I don't know what he's doing. He launched a book with a black star field as the thumbnail without doing any promotion...He blew the initial 24 hour funding period off, and now
we're playing catch up.
We've done two streams together and raised about $8000, but this campaign is a tough one. We'll get it to 6 figures though, if it stays In Demand.
I joined KF before you a-logging retards were here. I joined because the ComicsGate thread was filled with really smart ideas and talking points. Those contributors seem to have left with the arrival of my fan club.
But sure, I do care about me, and about stuff regarding me. That's a really great insight into me.

Liam's book is about a robot boy. There aren't tiddies.
And I wouldn't say Bunny Boy is particularly successful. He's doing just OK. He's got a really nice piece of art on this campaign. That realistic piece is fire and it almost makes me want to back it.

Hoo boy. Well. He's said this before. Always backed out, for good reason.
Countless CG wannabes and has-beens have tried to get an audience by reviewing old comic shit they like. There's a reason they do that. You don't get heat off of old shit everyones moved on from. Keyfabe are the only ones to have some success there.
Interest in comics has waned. Its across the board. People aren't as angry as much about comics as apathetic.
Still, allot of Frogsimps audience are there because of and support him thanks to the outrage.
Every video, he advertises his projects. He and Frog and others whip there people into a bloody froth and then say, if you like what I'm doing, go support this.
I never underestimate how stupid the CG audience is. They seem entertained by anything. They watched a twenty something ethot walk around a farm and stare at dirt for a livestream. Still. Risky.
I just called him a Trump fag earlier and I refer to him frequently with derision. That glove incident was exceptional even for the circles you and he run in. But props to him, since then he's cleaned up and got his shit together. More than most of you can say.

Why only $500 for the campaign goal Frog? Are you that afraid that it won't hit a 250k so you put it at the lowest goal so the IGG algorithm puts it up at the max value asap? Crowdfunding is suppose to help those who can't raise it on their own, not some fat slob who could self fund it from superchats.

To use a basketball analogy, it is the All star team versus the guys who are lucky to be picked to warm the bench.Some here seem to think it means the CG money train is starting to slow down or even run out of track.
Somebody excommunicated from CG early on (BunnyBoy) beating one of CGs pillars (YBZ) would kind of imply that, I guess. Somehow rather than the alternate hypothesis that anime tiddies have more of a market than space opera.

COMICSGATE NEWS UPDATE
Well that's our news update for today, a lot of the updates are several days old as I've been busy and its been a slow few weeks in Comicsgate. Obviously the big news is Ethan launching his Warts and All omnibus, Micah's feud with Razorfist, SWC beating Liam Gray's copyright strikes and Mitch Breitweiser attempting to stem the anger of his backers by offering additional features. Other items in the news are Erik Larson using Savage Dragon to push the upcoming Biden/Harris ticket, the launch of Richard Meyer's new book Impossible Stars and it's race against Kamen America 2 and the public back and forth between Camilla Zhang and Ethan on twitter. Since other Kiwi's had already reported on these happenings in the thread, I figured there was no need to retread on these subjects as they'd already been reported.
On the topic of Ethan being behind Liam Gray's copyright strikes on the SWC brothers as an attempt to gain their personal information, I'm more than willing to give Ethan the benefit of the doubt on that accusation. Anyone who follows Liam Gray knows that his own retardation far outweighs any malicious intent by Ethan and the simple answer of Liam attempting to be overzealous in defending Comicsgate and himself from perceived enemies is a far more likely scenerio. On a now deleted/privated livestream Liam Gray let slip that the SWC brothers may have committed fraud since their personal details on the strikes were replaced with those of DA Talks acting as a representative for the brothers. This strangely coincides with DA Talk's brother Crow (who has a segment in a thread here) a Weeb Wars youtuber who previously roleplayed incest futanari on a roleplaying forum, revealed that he was receiving DMs from "pissed off Nick Rekieta fans" threatening to dox DA Talks and his mother after Dean and Liam Gray both streamed together on Nick's channel.

Afterwards two of the Co-hosts Steve Delive and Auragami were confronted in a discord they're both mutually in over the "pissed off Rekieta fans" threatening Crow's brother and mother in DMs and Aura insinuated that Liam Gray's fans were probably responsible, rather than Nick Rekieta's fans.
Despite playing dumb according to the transcripts of the livestream the cohost Auragami was also receiving these threatening DMs.
It's highly unlikely this is one massive coordinated gayop organized by Ethan and is rather Liam Gray acting on his own accord, switching his original target of the SWC brothers to DA Talks. Of course this is all merely speculation on my part but I find the coincidence of Liam Gray obtaining DA Talks personal information, their mutual stream on Rekieta's channel, Crow admitting that he and his cohosts are now receiving DMs threatening to dox DA Talks family and changing the story from Rekieta's fans being behind it to probably being those of Liam Gray to be an interesting thread to tug on.
TLDR: I think Liam's own spergery and history of acting by himself despite multiple attempts to tard wrangle him, including by Ethan, is far more plausible than Ethan being behind a giant gayop gone side ways with switching targets, new players and drama involving people he has probably never heard of.
But that's just my opinion.

Given that Rekt Planet is likely to stay in-demand for many more months to come, it is highly possible that Cyberfrog will retake the third top spot and even possibly dethrone Order of the Stick at some point.
Brzrkr currently sits at over 1500 more backers than Cyberfrog to the tune of an extra $70,000. Both campaigns have been a huge success and in this reporters opinion signal that the crowdfunding method for selling comicbooks online is still quite healthy, at least for certain creators.

And lastly Jon Malin's Graveyard Shift 3 has finished and closed without entering into demand in a similar fashion to his previous campaigns. The third outing of the universal monsters reimagined as Xmen was the most successful installment of the trilogy to date finishing up with $265,458 from 3,319 backers. The slapfight erupted over Razorfist announcing he would pursue his own comic book project that would be published by Arkhaven comics under the Dark Legion label. Obviously having a representative of Comicsgate attempting to engage in cancel culture with a politically savvy, pop culture youtuber with an audience of over 260K subs was deemed not to be a good look for the movement.

Lastly Liam Gray is feeling the loss of his artist Ody, who as I understand it has been conscripted into the Greek military for compulsory service. The conscription appears to be a hot issue as in Greece those who fail to earn a certain amount of money per annum are conscripted to serve. In the same post linked above by Mister Dongs, Jon Malin points out that Ody could have easily avoided conscription by accepting more work with other Comicsgaters or taking commissions however had his hands tied via Liam Grays exclusivity contract. It is uncertain whether the conscription will impact future collaborative works by both Gray and Ody, however given the loss of spare time I would imagine it would.

I imagine how much effort would have been put into boosting Simple Zack's numbers if the apostate Bunnyboy wasn't in the equation. Did he need a helping hand during any other campaign where another crowdfunder threatened to pull ahead?

Note that it's "'90s" (apostrophe nine zero ess), not "90's" (nine zero apostrophe ess). Also, the Cyberfrog merch looks cool, but do you really think anyone will be interested in the merch with just the All Caps logo? And-

If combining print comics with digital comics is Apples/Apples/Oranges then combining print comics with toys is Apples/Apples/Tomatoes. If you take all the other add-ons like stickers, posters, original art etc… plus bundles of previous comics then comparing campaigns is an impossible task because each campaign is like a Fruit and Veg Store. Never really thought about it that much before but now after comparing quite a few campaigns declaring who's 'winning' is misleading and pointless. Doesn't matter, next week everyone will be back to crowning themselves Top Dog because they raised the most amount of money.

Yo @FROG. I know the books haven't been made yet. But with big, noice hard covers like this you want to take a picture of it laying flat to show how the binding works and the quality. I also might have missed it in my review of the page, but is the binding glue or sewn? DC put out glue binding with mixed results a while back.
@FROG has made 175,000 in two hours on his new campaign. The man truly does hold all the cards in the industry. One campaign you might dismiss is a fluke, maybe two, but if he demonstrates the ability to consistently make upwards of $1,000,000 on each campaign, what criticism is there anyone can make that doesn't just sound like butt hurt? What leverage does a commie industry cult have when the grass is demonstrably far greener apart from it?

A good first two hours!
I sold thru the first 500 Exec boxes so quickly, and my email has a few angry big time supporters who missed it and felt like they should have gotten a better opportunity.
The only reason I limited them to 500 was because that was how many miniatures I have in my storage.
I contacted the company that made them and asked for a discount on 500 more, and they offered me 40% off the last price, so I ordered 600 (100 extra in case of loss or damages) and put up
an additional 500 Exec Box Editions. I will make TONS of money on this deal, and customers are happy, while the perk is still highly limited at 1000 pieces.
I think I'll get to that $250K, which was my goal for this campaign.
Nippy, this campaign won't get to $1,000,000. I have topped out at around 9000 backers, and this campaign doesn't have the fuel to get me there. Once the $200 perks sell thru, that gets me to $200,000, then we're floating by on infinite $100 "Junior Exec" perks and $30 Basic Tier hardcovers. Best case scenario, I'll land at $300K after two months. Very happily.

Maybe not 1,000,000 but still more than Scott Snyder managed to raise in a month. A lot of what holds these guys back is anxiety. Maybe the campaign does just front load 200,000. That's still a months worth of anxiety--of “will this succeed or not?”--gone in two hours. You might also attract a small “archival audience”, who might not be interested in the newer Cyberfrog but still want a good compendium of old material.
