I feel I should add that I agree with Smug: the colours of the hoodie are nice and I wouldn't mind concealing my hideous form with one. It's just all the embarassing adverts it's also covered with. I'm also not singling Frog out for that, when a lot of other crowdfunders shoehorn apparel into their nerd campaigns and and provide me with a new set of spergy dusters for under the kitchen sink.
The political slant adds something special, though. Imagine explaining to normies how 'Cyberfrog' is the mascot of a guy on youtube who posts videos ranting about how the essjaydoubleus ruined Star Wars and Batman, and that why I pay him forty to two hundred bucks for one of his comics, and oh god I can see the eyes glazing over already.

I'll go ahead and be a salty little fucker, and openly wonder how much toilet paper costs per sheet.

Wish I could mock him more but I honestly don't know shit about him.

Well, he was an animator for a short time before he became a comics critic and publisher, posting videos about how artist X should have drawn angles and poses like this rather than that. And yet, a couple of days ago he wondered why his Jawbreakers variant cover wasn't working out, and had to get JustSomeGuy (a man whose biggest powerlevel moment was bragging about how much he gets the shit kicked out of him in the street) to tell him to go to a chain hobby store and get a proper drafting pencil, rather than use the cheap, crappy #2 he found in a drawer.

Uh, /artsperg.

Time for another...

COMICSGATE NEWS UPDATE
FROM KICKSTARTER AND INDIEGOGO
The runaway sensation Brzrkr by Keanu Reeves and Boom studios officially surpassed Cyberfrog Rekt Planet in both backers and funding amount with four days remaining on the campaign. If this trend continues it would make Brzrkr the third most backed comic book of all time after Todd McFarlane's Spawn #1 reprint action figure and Order of the Stick, which take the top two spots respectively. Given that Rekt Planet is likely to stay in-demand for many more months to come, it is highly possible that Cyberfrog will retake the third top spot and even possibly dethrone Order of the Stick at some point.

Brzrkr currently sits at over 1500 more backers than Cyberfrog to the tune of an extra $70,000. Both campaigns have been a huge success and in this reporters opinion signal that the crowdfunding method for selling comicbooks online is still quite healthy, at least for certain creators.

Comicsgate betrayer and Walmart floozy Mitchell Breitweiser recently posted an update in an attempt to make amends to his disgruntled backers of the overdue project. Realizing the negative attention surrounding his campaign might be beginning to impact his future business ventures, Mitch offered a conciliatory update and attempted to douse the backer's anger with the promise of additional tchotchkes.
View attachment 1624326

It would appear that the following extras have now been included to the backers at no extra cost
  • The book has been increased in page count from 60 pages to a total of 94 pages which includes a 24 page bonus story.
  • An upgrade of the interior paper to #70 endurance silk matte.
  • A custom designed Red Rooster shipping box similar to the Rekt Planet box and boxes by Doug TenNapel.
  • Allegiance Arts stickers now included in addition to the Order of the Dawn stickers.
  • Trading cards will now include a full set of Golden Ages heroes as opposed to just the Red Rooster.
The comments section has recently turned from a horde of backers requesting refunds to offering their thanks to Mitch, which may signal that the ploy has worked for now.

Kiwifarms own and eternal victim of aloggers Ethan VanSciver @FROG is launching his new project, a hard cover omnibus of his previous Cyberfrog works. The project will reportedly be $30 with a whopping 328 page count which offers backers a price per page of 0.09 per page, which is extremely good value. In my spreadsheet of over 280 different crowdfunded comics, this would place Warts and All in the top 10 for delivering value for money via price per page and the cheapest Comicsgate title.

And lastly Jon Malin's Graveyard Shift 3 has finished and closed without entering into demand in a similar fashion to his previous campaigns. The third outing of the universal monsters reimagined as Xmen was the most successful installment of the trilogy to date finishing up with $265,458 from 3,319 backers. Jon Malin joins a small handful of other Comicsgate creators such as Ethan, Adam Post and Clint Stoker who experience growth in the installments of their respective comic book series as opposed to serious declines like Zack, Antonio Brice or Warcampaign. If this trend continues we could see offerings by Malin overtake Zack as he becomes Comicsgate's official no.2 crowdfunder, after Ethan.
FROM THE TWITTERVERSE
While old news now (I've been busy lately), monotonous moron Micah Curtis recently was taken to task for getting involved in an internet slap fight with comic aficionado and political commentator Razorfist. The slapfight erupted over Razorfist announcing he would pursue his own comic book project that would be published by Arkhaven comics under the Dark Legion label. Micah Curtis furiously took to twitter to give Razorfist a piece of his mind:

The back and forth culminated with @FROG noticing Micah's fuckup and was quick on the scene to pull the "man tittied concern troll with a talent deficit and bad goatee" into line. Obviously having a representative of Comicsgate attempting to engage in cancel culture with a politically savvy, pop culture youtuber with an audience of over 260K subs was deemed not to be a good look for the movement.

Despite his comment section being a nightmare, being ratio'd to all hell and having Ethan interject in the disagreement, this didn't stop from Micah appearing on the Oz show and doubling down on his position. This was previously extrapolated on in a previous post by Kiwifarm's on the ground reporter @Mister Dongs in a post here.

Lastly Liam Gray is feeling the loss of his artist Ody, who as I understand it has been conscripted into the Greek military for compulsory service. The conscription appears to be a hot issue as in Greece those who fail to earn a certain amount of money per annum are conscripted to serve. In the same post linked above by Mister Dongs, Jon Malin points out that Ody could have easily avoided conscription by accepting more work with other Comicsgaters or taking commissions however had his hands tied via Liam Grays exclusivity contract. It is uncertain whether the conscription will impact future collaborative works by both Gray and Ody, however given the loss of spare time I would imagine it would.

FROM YOUTUBE
While the race between Ya Boi Zack (TexasAustim/Simple Zack) and Tim Lim (Bunny Boy) has been raging for the past several days here on the farms, the race hasn't escaped the notice of the peoples champion The Comic Book Hut who has produced a series of videos detailing the neck in neck race in real time.

Yellowflash reports on the failure of the mainstream SJW pro's failing to cancel BRZRKR for being crowdfunded by a mainstream company in collaboration with a Hollywood A-list celebrity.

Zack reports on the terrible customer service of SJW pro's for what I'm sure is the 100th time.

The SWC brothers took some time to gloat and dab on Liam Gray and Comicsgate's failure to deplatform them via copyright strikes after youtube denied all the strikes.

And finally your old buddy Rorshach continues his new series "This Week in Soy" talking about all the new comic book releases for the week.
Well that's our news update for today, a lot of the updates are several days old as I've been busy and its been a slow few weeks in Comicsgate. Obviously the big news is Ethan launching his Warts and All omnibus, Micah's feud with Razorfist, SWC beating Liam Gray's copyright strikes and Mitch Breitweiser attempting to stem the anger of his backers by offering additional features. Other items in the news are Erik Larson using Savage Dragon to push the upcoming Biden/Harris ticket, the launch of Richard Meyer's new book Impossible Stars and it's race against Kamen America 2 and the public back and forth between Camilla Zhang and Ethan on twitter. Since other Kiwi's had already reported on these happenings in the thread, I figured there was no need to retread on these subjects as they'd already been reported.

On the topic of Ethan being behind Liam Gray's copyright strikes on the SWC brothers as an attempt to gain their personal information, I'm more than willing to give Ethan the benefit of the doubt on that accusation. Anyone who follows Liam Gray knows that his own retardation far outweighs any malicious intent by Ethan and the simple answer of Liam attempting to be overzealous in defending Comicsgate and himself from perceived enemies is a far more likely scenerio. On a now deleted/privated livestream Liam Gray let slip that the SWC brothers may have committed fraud since their personal details on the strikes were replaced with those of DA Talks acting as a representative for the brothers. This strangely coincides with DA Talk's brother Crow (who has a segment in a thread here) a Weeb Wars youtuber who previously roleplayed incest futanari on a roleplaying forum, revealed that he was receiving DMs from "pissed off Nick Rekieta fans" threatening to dox DA Talks and his mother after Dean and Liam Gray both streamed together on Nick's channel.

Timestamp included in embed:

Afterwards two of the Co-hosts Steve Delive and Auragami were confronted in a discord they're both mutually in over the "pissed off Rekieta fans" threatening Crow's brother and mother in DMs and Aura insinuated that Liam Gray's fans were probably responsible, rather than Nick Rekieta's fans.

Despite playing dumb according to the transcripts of the livestream the cohost Auragami was also receiving these threatening DMs.
View attachment 1624468
View attachment 1624472

It's highly unlikely this is one massive coordinated gayop organized by Ethan and is rather Liam Gray acting on his own accord, switching his original target of the SWC brothers to DA Talks. Of course this is all merely speculation on my part but I find the coincidence of Liam Gray obtaining DA Talks personal information, their mutual stream on Rekieta's channel, Crow admitting that he and his cohosts are now receiving DMs threatening to dox DA Talks family and changing the story from Rekieta's fans being behind it to probably being those of Liam Gray to be an interesting thread to tug on.

TLDR: I think Liam's own spergery and history of acting by himself despite multiple attempts to tard wrangle him, including by Ethan, is far more plausible than Ethan being behind a giant gayop gone side ways with switching targets, new players and drama involving people he has probably never heard of.

But that's just my opinion. :bluelabel:
EDIT: Spelling and layout.

Those people he's never heard of are just small time streamers who don't like drama but somehow always manage to be in the middle of some new drama. One of them really likes to neg people on in dms

CYBERFROG: REKT PLANET Preview ashcan proof copies just came in. Just 200 samples.

This is from the UNFROGETTABLE TALES campaign. It was supposed to be just an ashcan of the first ten pages of the book with an exclusive Jae Lee cover, but we made it full-sized and with a foil cover. These are just card stock covers, so that I can approve of the interiors. (New printer)

Pretty fun!

edit: The foil version is in!

I would buy a crowdfund by JSG.
Like his art style and probably he can write a decent comic.

I wonder why he is the one who did not go for IGG dollars. Probably has reasons not to dox himself I guess or maybe common sense.

Last JSG video I watched was his first "Cuties" video and him sperging out cause people namely parents tend to only GAF about their own kids. Which in this day and age only nonbiological kids anyone should GAF about are those who have legal guardianship over them.

So Frog...you are just resaleing...90's garbage in a silver lined trash bag. LMAO I can read all of those on-line for free.

Isn't promising extra content the same course of action that Cridious took when people started asking about Detective Dead? It turns out making additional promises has zero cost when you have no actual intention of fulfilling your campaign.
Are you saying that Adamska and I probably aren't getting our stupid chicken books Mister Dongs?

Speaking of Cridious I actually forgot to post an update, he released a PDF of everything he has assembled so far. He posted it in the update section of his indiegogo rather than emailing it to backers, so it's visible and available to anyone who wants it.

Billy Tucci did the same thing with Shi: Return of the Warrior, posting the dropbox link in an update so people who didn't back the PDF got it. It looks like he deleted the file though, so I can't share that one.
Overall today was a great success for Frog, thanks in no small part because of the very competitively priced Cyberfrog: Warts & All omnibus. In a followup stream, Frog even cited the research of the beloved, trusted Comicsgate figure that is Smug Freiza (unnamed). The only cloud in this silver lining would be Zack's sandbagging response to Frog's charity earlier, but what can one do?

Wait a minute.. did Frog just call me autistic..?

What's autistic about entering over 280 crowdfunded comic books into a spreadsheet complete with backer numbers, funding amounts, average contributions and price per page ratios? Actually nvm, fair call @FROG

Although I never said the book cost a fifth of a cent per page. I said it cost 9 cents per page, or one tenth of a dollar per page. Don't get me wrong though, that is extremely good value compared to other campaigns for example:

Here's an example of some of the more known Comicsgate and non-Comicsgate books with their respective prices and price per page. Notice Ethan's price/page is going down each campaign (Vampirella variants aside), this means Ethan is offering more value for money to his backers with each installment of the series. Blood Honey and Rekt Planet are both $25, however Rekt Planet offers a higher total page count whether due to stretch goals, bonus ashcans or comics etc. This metric of value doesn't include other extras like pvc toys, trading cards, stickers etc.

The inverse is true for Zack, meaning each campaign he does in all his series is actually getting worse for his backers. This might actually explain Zack's dramatic decline of backers for each campaign, as they might feel that they can get better deals elsewhere from Tim Lim, Doug TenNapel or Ethan who consistently are offering better value to backers which each campaign. In fact Zack has neglected to post final pages counts for Pandemic, The Expendables, Grand Bizarre and Impossible Stars, meaning backers can't even find out what they are getting for their $25.

In the case of Cyberfrog: Warts and All, it is tied in 9th place with Tim Lim's Black Hops omnibus for the best value out of 280 crowdfunded comics, Comicsgate or otherwise. The next best value for money Comicsgate books would have been Mike S Millers MEG/Sixgun/Deal with Devil triple pack in 17th place and Eric Weathers Flying Fortress: Battle Damaged Edition in 18th place. This makes Warts and All the best value for money product that any Comicsgate creator has produced so far, even beating out BRZRKR with its 400 pages for $50.

/end of autism.

This Sunday, Frog Simp, formerly Richard C Meyer aka Zach, launched his test pilot for his Keyfabe rebrand.

Titled Lazy Sunday, Frog Simp proceeded to look thru the instagram photos of Eric Canete. The video of forty four minutes of boring commentary that would put Bob Ross to sleep.

While Lazy Sunday could get better, it has three problems.

1. Frog Simp built himself on relevance. The reason Keyfabe is able to do what they do and not be hated by comic artists is they're reviewing material from the 90s, 80s, and farther back. There is nothing relevant about going over Eric Canete's doodles and gushing about how they look good.

2. Hipster Douchebags Rugg and Piskor have better content than lazily scrolling thru some online odds and ends. They have old Wizard comics, shoot interviews, and even can get people like Chris Claremont to appear for interviews.

3. Keyfabe are already doing it. Frog Simp has aped other you tubers before. He's followed Cummings, Earnst, and others basic setup. Problem is, it worked because he was over the top and did a better job than them at their content. I question whether he can outdo Keyfabe at what they do.

Again, when did the worth of I use the term extremely loosely literature start to be judged by weight per dollar?

Not at all just he was going after parents attacking the movie.

Unless I'm spectacularly misreading you, "don't criticise this film unless it directly affected your child" doesn't sound a million miles outside the zipcode.

Titled Lazy Sunday, Frog Simp proceeded to look thru the instagram photos of Eric Canete. The video of forty four minutes of boring commentary that would put Bob Ross to sleep.

Hence the artsperg above.

Again, when did the worth of I use the term extremely loosely literature start to be judged by weight per dollar?

It's an anti-CG thing. "More and cheaper" is how they evaluate the output of a creator.

"JDA did ten issues of FLYING SPARKS in the time it took you to do one issue of CYBERFROG."

"Ed Wood wrote 25 novels in the time it took JDA to write ten comic books, though."

"Are you calling JDA a pervert?"

Old CYBERFROG books are primitive. I like the last two books before I went to DC, but the rest of it is extremely rough, and nothing I wanted to republish.

But people wanted it anyway. So we're doing it, in the nicest format possible, with everything I can find to cram in there. More and cheaper.
